Earlier this month we reported
here that Hasbro Italy was looking for 10 Italian Transformers Fans to attend to the launch of the
Transformers Movie. More information about Hasbro Italy's requirerments is out. Here it is:
"1) Passion (based on the presentation and quality of the applicants letter 'reason for beign chosen';
2) The amount of action figures a fan owns, though Hasbro do state that "even a fan with
a limited amount, like 20, could be selected".
3) They want a list of the toys including Production year, series, manufacturer, out-of-box or in-box, rarity etc.
4) Age of the fan; Though they are looking for older fans, they want to try to get as large a range as they can"

There has been an update about the
Transformers Movie posted on Michael Bay's
website. Bay has recently spoken to his forum administrator Nelson, giving him an update on the movie. Here is what Nelson reported:
"Spoke to Bay...
1.- Movie will finish filming in four days.
2.- Bay & small unit will go around the country to film stuff in DC, Boston, Detroit, Chicago, Alaska, and other places.
3.- The animations are looking awesome. He's very confident with what they've done so far.
4.- And...
...there is no "Razor". Shia meant to say "Raptor". The F-22 has been filmed very little (or not at all) for the big screen"
Since the "Razor" was attributed to Megatron by Shia (who is apparently mistaken), and the Raptor has been revealed as Starscream, it's safe to say that the "rumor mill" should be swinging back towards no earth mode for Megatron as per the leaked script.

Don Murphy has posted his traditional
Sunday Update on his
message board. It primarily concerns the last day of shooting on the movie and marks the beginning of post production.
Today is the last day of main unit shooting. In two hours we'll break for lunch. Then blow up more shit in downtown LA.
Next week a reduced unit with very few actors will head to different cities and pick up some establishing shots. Then some of the team will head to the Frozen North.
The film is basically done today boys and girls. And by done I mean filming. If ever there was a film that was really going to be made in post production, this is it. Much editing and many effects to go.
How do I feel? There is a promo reel that has been put together for exhibitors and retailers that is mind boggling. There is a trailer being put together for later this year that should blow your mind.
I'm feeling pretty good that we've made a film that you will like. Only time will tell.
I had a water pipe break in the downstairs of our house yesterday. A neighbor called to say the firemen were breaking in. We imagined a lot of damage and, oddly, found very little. Fortunate.
May your Sunday be fortunate Stooges. Hang tight!
