It was previously assumed that actor Mark Ryan might be playing the voice of the Transformers movie Ironhide.

Well Mr. Ryan douses the flames of that rumor on his own BLOG located here.

Mr. Ryan says:

" Folks!

Just a quick note to clarify the present raging online debate about being cast as "Ironhide" in the film version of Transformers. The reports that I'll be voicing "Ironhide" in the movie are mistaken or misquoted lifts from various sources. Even Wikipedia has it wrong.

The post clearly states: "I've recently recorded two voices for the Activision game based on the film to be released at around the same time as the movie. I voiced both Ironhide and Hoist for the game."

I was also very careful to say: "I recently got called back to the studios by Michael Bay to voice more material to be utilized in editing the Transformers movie to be released during the summer."

So to be clear; I have recorded voices for the game but I cannot confirm (due to obvious contractual reasons) if any of that Autobot/Decepticon material will make it into the final cut of the movie. "

The website for the Lunchables Transformers Movie promotional tie-in came online last week, but now it seems the site has been updated with many new sections including behind-the-scenes facts and interviews as well as some CGI 'stock photo' images for the Transformers themselves, with the ability to zoom in on the images to see the models in greater detail.

Some of these images have already been seen, like Optimus Prime and Bumblebee, but there are new ones including Ironhide, Blackout, Megatron and Starscream.

Check out the content by clicking on 'enter' on the transformers window here, chose 'bringing the Transformers to life' for the behind-the-scenes content, or click 'Transformers Tech Check' for the CGI photos and profile for some of the robots from the film.

UPDATE: user NIDARAM12 of TFW2005 has posted a link to a gallery with the full-sized CGI stock photos of the Transformers for easy viewing, check them out by clicking here
