Please stay in the arena as much as possible.
I realize that not everyone is going to see this and stay out of the missions but if we could please get as little traffic as possible going through the missions until Glyph says it's okay that would be helpful.
For the moment please stick in the
arena.
We will keep you informed as repairs are completed.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Well, we needed to test the new automatic tournament code ahead of Dark Emissary, and the folks at Pax Cybertronia have kindly created
a mini tournament for us!
The tournament starts at
5pm CST on Monday 7th November and will feature some familiar faces and prizes you won't want to miss... so
warm up your bots!
While the tournament is running, you can check out the latest results through the
tournaments page - and while you're waiting, why not drop by the

Hey Autobots, Blaster here with the latest news and views and not a hint of snooze! Our sensors just picked up those Decepticon critters Ravage and Ratbat prowlin' around near Wheeljack's lab. They were gone by the time we got there with the friendly ol' energon nets, but this is a warning to keep on your toes. I don't know what they wanted or whether they got it, but it probably spells bad news for us if they did. Blaster out.

If you haven't been around all day then you are probably quite shocked to see the changes that have taken place to
Heavy Metal War. Some of the immediate changes are the new look of the
Registry page and the ability to
view your team's profile.
But don't take my word for it, have a look around for yourself, and be sure to test your skills (and your energon) against the elements in the new
Heavy Metal War: Battle Beasts game.

We believe that the repair function is -for lack of a better word- repaired now so we will be re-implementing the tactic shortly.
UPDATE: Due to v1.8 being released so soon repair will be returned in that version.

From the Focus Spotlight on the
main page:
Glyph has been hard at work making many changes and improvements to the very popular Heavy Metal War game. These changes will be unveiled in early November along with a brand new tournament called "The Return to Agorahex". If you haven't played in a while, now might be a good time to warm up your 'bots!
Check out the
Heavy Metal War Forum where fellow players have been speculating about what new features this tournament might include.

A heads-up for those that have repairers in their teams: they don't do their jobs anymore.
It is believed that repairers were the reason behind the recent site slow down and subsequently the game going offline so that function has been removed until a suitable alternative can be found.
Whether that involes a re-introduction of the retreat function or another, different tactic to replace it we are not sure at this point.
But until we do the game is running and the site is not showing the lag it was before.
As always, we will try to keep you up to date with any developments, but be sure to check into the
Heavy Metal War Forum for updates or announcements that haven't been posted on this page yet.
