A rumor has appeared on the dutch gaming site Gamed.nl. According to the source, a blogger by the name of Surfer Girl, Luxoflex (which is owned by Activision) will be the develloper of the Transformers 2 game(s). The game(s) will tie-in with the Transformers Movie sequel to be released at the same time in June of 2009.

She makes things up in her blog.

There was something was in the entertainment news recently that i cant quite remenber about a lie she told and she nearly got sued.

I was literally close to rolling out of my chair and laughing on the floor when I saw this post...hilarious!


I thought the first game was pretty good but left much to be improved too, it was great to be able to play as either faction rather than just a few characters in the armada game but I still like the armada game a little better in some ways.

No more race to this intersection in a time limit, get back to that zone, stay within this zone BS and it will be a lot better, make the maps more open like in armada!

Bahhh, that's what ordering over the internet is for Wheelimus! :P

Luxoflux? I had to look them up. They've only done a very small number of games, and the only things worth mentioning were True Crime: Streets of LA, and True Crime: New York City.

The rest of the stuff are either PS1 games, Dreamcast games, or Shrek 2.

I think the basic idea of the first game was good, it was just the execution that was lacking.

To make it better for a sequel, assuming a similar style to the first, I think all that would be needed would be

1) Loosen up the camera control. The camera was too low in vehicle modes and too close to the character in robot modes to see what was going on

2) Have more playable characters

3) Allow character selection, for at least some missions

5) Get Rockstar (the GTA guys) to write the vehicle control components

(Now I realise that, technically speaking, that's only one suggestion but I thought it was such a good one it was worth making it twice.)
