Honestly, they could have designed Bruticus a little better. His limbs look too long and too thin. If I had money I would still pick the set up for my collection, but they could've done better.

Looks like he has a much larger range of motion because of it though.

Not for me, looks like had some nasty infection in his feet and hands that made them swell up!

Game accurate colors - SDCC exclusive

G2 Colors - Amazon exclusive

If I recall correctly the Amazon exclusive in the just the retail versions packed as a giftset.

I just want the game-accurate SDCC version.

That's correct. The details of the G2 version are unclear, but it's likely it's a giftset as well, plus I'm suspecting it's another one of those Asia Exclusives.

They really know how to hook a guy, don't they? Make the neon coloured one an exclusive and more expensive, just knowing I will buy it.. Such colourschemes are exactly why, after already owning a complete set of six retail-released Classics-verse seekers, I plunked down $75 on the Botcon exclusive SG Thundercracker... Now we get a G2 FoC Bruty... BRING ON THE NEON ARMY WITH PURPLE CAMO!

May have to get that Asian exclusive G2 Megatron remold of Bludgeon to go with these...

seriously, the moulds are just too damn ugly to warrant soo many repaints. The old adage 'you can't polish a turd' rings true with this one (even if mythbusters debunked it)

Anybody know the release date for the Generations foc and how many waves there will be i'll take it there is at least 2 since shockwave missed the first and starscream getting a release.

The G2 Vortex looks way better than the other 2 .

So is brawl pretty much green every single time?

Wave 1 has Shockwave, Optimus Prime and Autobot Jazz, expect them summer into fall. Wave 2 exchanges Shockwave for the Combaticons, and Wave 3 will hit spring 2013.

Crap combiners are still crap regardless of what colour you paint them, even if you're clearly aiming for the collector pocket this time.

Energon Bruticus Maximus needs some credit too. It's neon was spread across only 3 molds before now.

I find myself liking the G2 Version better than the original retail figs.

Lots of G2 love in the last couple of years. Awesome! If these were better molds, I would love to get multiple versions. But as it is, one version is enough for me. I'll probably try to get the SDCC pack.

So that's 3 uses of the mold announced before any of them get released? Wowsers. I'm all for more Swindles but I don't want 3 Bruticus'. I'm thinking I'll get SDCC, G2 and just the single carded Swindle.

I was thinking of doing that. But G2 Bruticus is 1 boxed set.

Notice how the regular one has the title "FOC Deluxe asrt" or something, while G2 says "G2 bruticus" the item coding is a different style than regular delxues, so it's probably a boxed set.

I completely understand the reasoning behind the joints being the way they are, but I have a feeling that there will be a 3rd party company that is going to create some shoulder/knee pads or something that will make him look way better.

Ah man, I have such a soft spot for RID stuff, I'd so get that if they were doing it!

In fact, if you give G2 Vortex SDCC Vortex's head and rotors, get rid of that camo with some rubbing alcohol or something, you'd get a kinda passable FOC Rotor!

Still, I can see the appeal of G2 colours, I love the "makin ma eyes bleed" colour schemes. I have all the Euro Exclusives and they lighten up my room when it's dark
