9th Victoria Toy Fair Coverage - Headrobots Tauros

Today at Victoria's 9th Ultimate Hobby & Toy Fair hosted by Cherry Bomb Toys, third party Headrobots made an appearance. The first upcoming product that was showcased was Tauros, an upgrade kit for a figure we know as Generations Skullgrin. Still in it's early prototype phase, Tauros will make Skullgrin look more like his Generation One namesake.
The Tauros upgrade set will include shoulder pads, forearm guards, kneecaps, a new weapon and a new head. The head still has yet to hit the hard copy phase. The majority of the head will still work with Skullgrin's transformation, whether or not the horns will stay in place or be detachable is still to be determined.

I bought Skullgrin at He-con mainly for this upgrade. He has a plac ein my heart because he was one of my childhood TFs, but the Generations one wa sjust too "Straxus" for me. So I'm glad this upgrade came out to make him more his own bot.

I still find it funny that the one thing Headrobots won't show us is this robots head! 
The original head gets turned around to attach the new one but we still don't know what it looks like!

Yea, definitely getting two and make myself a Skullgrin with the Hasbro head and a Daurous with this one. This set is shaping up to be amazing.

Adding so many organic looking pieces to a heavy mechanical design just doesn't work for me.
