Unfortunately this game isn't worth even $43. I bought it when it first came out, enjoyed the Single Player campaign as short as it was and have been playing the multiplayer 3-4 nights a week since.
I will honestly say it is one of the most frustrating and unbalanced multiplayer games I have ever played on the 360. Lack of dedicated servers turns hosts into nearly unkillable gods. Weapons are incredibly unbalanced, rendering half of them nearly useless. And glitching is getting to the point where I just don't wanna play because of I am tired of seeing spin-attacking leaders, draining scouts and jets with cloaks.
And don't even get me started on the tanks spin-attack in general. An attack that cannot be avoided, or run from and which results in regular one hit kills shouldn't make the user nearly invincible. And then adding buffs that make it do more damage, make the user move faster, and reduce even more damage while used...what the hell was High Moon thinking?
The single player is pretty decent, but if you wait a few months this game will hit the $20 bin at most stores.

It's a great game for what it's worth. I highly recommend it. The single-player campaign mode is short and may leave something to be desired but it's a lot of fun and very addicting. As far as the multiplayer goes, there's some truth to what whacko says. It's not as balanced as one would think, but it's not way off either. It all depends on how well you know your chassis and your enemy. As a scout, to avoid being hit by a Leader's whirlwind, I usually just jump and step boost in the opposite direction to avoid getting hit. There are other ways to bypass this as each class have their pros and their cons. The weapons are not as useless as one would think. Strategy is key to dominating a game no matter how overpowered your enemies are.
My only major gripe with multiplayer is the lack of dedicated servers. I got mine on the PS3, and it is hard to find a stable game at times. Usually, I run into lag or just get timed out. It has nothing to do with my connection since I can run other online games just fine with it. Still, I recommend this game to all who haven't purchased it.

It's a great game, especially if you are a Transformers fan. The game play can be a bit unbalanced in a few situations and I agree that online play needs better capacity. In the end the game has a great story, rendering, and is allot of fun, I highly recommend it.

Well the single player campaign while short ( but personally I like cause I don't have 40 hours in a week to play a game ) is superb. It's so worth 43 bucks it's not even funny.
Multiplayer is frustrating at times but I chock that up to my own lack of skill and strategy in combat situations. Otherwise I have been playing it almost nightly. The other negative is the people bailing that host the game but it's never been a huge problem when I play.
Or better yet, trade in a bunch of old games at Gamestop like I did and get it for about 22 bucks

Wow for the DS you have to deal with this? I would be pissed. Can you imagine playing online on Xbox and actually LOSING you character to the winner and then completing some ridiculous single player mission to rescue it back?
? Ante-Up Your Bots in Multiplayer: Challenge friends to high-stakes multiplayer matches using the local wireless connection abilities of the Nintendo DS. Players can wager one of their unlocked TRANSFORMERS characters on the outcome, with the winner permanently acquiring the loser’s character complete with all its current upgrades. The losing player will then have to regain his lost character by completing a single-player rescue mission.

People must really not like the Wii version of War for Cybertron, to put it up on clearance this early. I already have a 360 copy, and by the time I'm done typing this post, I'll be in the middle of the Kaon Prison Break (Hard/Epic) level. Got it for my b-day
