I wish this was repainted into the colours of Glit, or atleast Howlback, but I guess beggars can't be choosers. Haha, I guess that's what we all are, just a bunch of beggars. Well, I guess I'll stop whining and be happy with some Ravage figure with more chrome than the rest of the RotF toyline... ![]() ![]()
| Re: Another look at Mail-In Exclusive Ravage (1016262) Posted by Ultra Markus on November 3rd, 2009 @ 3:43am CST mail in transformers are back after 25 years! not talking about collectors club or anything like that talking about like the old days were you collect robot points of the back of boxes but in this case its stickers then send them in with money and order form hopefully we will see more exclusive figures | |
| Re: Another look at Mail-In Exclusive Ravage (1016281) Posted by Jacob P. Galvatron on November 3rd, 2009 @ 5:52am CST It's probably something like, Atmospheric Entrance Ravage. Looks a bit strange though, color-wise. | |
| Re: Another look at Mail-In Exclusive Ravage (1016295) Posted by Nekoman on November 3rd, 2009 @ 6:41am CST Looks a little better, I'll probably end up with one at some point. Still saddens me the best they could think of was slapping chrome on a kitty. Why not 08 Bumblebee redecoed as Glyph or Bug Bite? Ironhide in red (okay, that's a voyager, but they could charge more or something)? As it is, the toy does not make much sense to me. | |
| Re: Another look at Mail-In Exclusive Ravage (1016301) Posted by Sabrblade on November 3rd, 2009 @ 6:49am CST Chrome?!! | |

| Re: Another look at Mail-In Exclusive Ravage (1016313) Posted by tigertracks 24 on November 3rd, 2009 @ 7:57am CST It's cool, and much better than the Cobra Commander mail in they are offering for GI JOE. Love the chrome blaster. Hope the package is cool looking, cause that's where mine is staying. | |

It looks like they're assembled backwards. Does this guy take official pictures for Hasbro?
| Re: Another look at Mail-In Exclusive Ravage (1016339) Posted by Blurrz on November 3rd, 2009 @ 8:42am CST
Yeah, the legs are assembled backwards there, and.. They're most likely taken within Hasbro's factories. So no.
| Re: Another look at Mail-In Exclusive Ravage (1016397) Posted by Ungie on November 3rd, 2009 @ 11:14am CST Wait, wait. CHROME? I bet it took like 2 months to warm the vacuum-mettalizer machine up! | |
| Re: Another look at Mail-In Exclusive Ravage (1016414) Posted by JelZe GoldRabbit on November 3rd, 2009 @ 12:12pm CST
Look closer. I have my Ravage on hand here and can tell you the legs are assembled correctly. The front legs are just twisted 180 degrees, which is possible with any Ravage figure, while the back ones are just straightened out.
| Re: Another look at Mail-In Exclusive Ravage (1016415) Posted by UltraPrimal on November 3rd, 2009 @ 12:12pm CST Why chrome the front legs but not the back? This repaint is quite literally half-ass'ed in my opinion. | |

No, no, no, they just borrowed Takara's.
| Re: Another look at Mail-In Exclusive Ravage (1016433) Posted by kirbenvost on November 3rd, 2009 @ 1:22pm CST I'm not particularly interested in the figure, but I do think it's totally awesome that mail-away figures have returned. | |

couldn't agree with you more! or maybe a deluxe class scrapper, heavyload or the all black soundwave as a soundblaster tribute...
| Re: Another look at Mail-In Exclusive Ravage (1016450) Posted by Rated X on November 3rd, 2009 @ 2:00pm CST Should have just painted the whole thing chrome. Looks decent but I could have done better with some chrome spray paint and masking tape to cover his eye. If its free for about 5-7 purchaces, Ill get him, but I got no plans to buy the whole N.E.S.T. line to get this guy. | |
