Thanks for the English translations of the Trainbots' names, JelZe. I always wondered what their names meant.
The Trainbots were the only ones w/o English names, right?
Nope, the Dino Force from Victory had non-English names as well:

- Doryu ("Earth Dragon", Stegosaurus)
- Kakuryu ("Horned Dragon", Triceratops)

See, the leader of the Cybertrons, Metalhawk, had a human disguise, Hawk. Naturally, Hawk needed to get around, so he drove this nifty little two-seater.

We have a couple of updates for Jim Sorenson's blog,
Disciples of Boltax. First up we have his weekly Ark Addendum Update, which features backgrounds from the G1 episode
Mircrobots. The Autobots are shrunk down and sneak into Megatron's body to disable the Cybertronian artifact known as the
Heart of Cybertron. We get nice a background depicting Megatron's inner workings. Take a look below then click
here to visit Disciples of Boltax for Jim's commentary.

Next,

More Than Meets The Eye that originate from a series of Heritage Auctions that took place back in 2003. We've mirrored one of them below, it features a rather "cute" version of Ravage. Click

Since it's been 20-something years (man, I'm old) since I last saw the episodes in question, I didn't recall what happened to the Nemesis in the G1 cartoon myself. All I remembered was it spinning out of control in MTMTE1. I had just assumed it went back to Cybertron b/c it definitely wasn't the ship that crashed into the ocean in MTMTE3.

The 80s/early 90s really did have some sick designs for jets and the like. I'd wanna fly one of those around while shooting s*** up.

Agreed. Original concept fighters these days are much more conservative. Those of the 80s/90s looked like they were designed by 11 year olds who were brought up solely on Battlestar, Buck Rogers and Gerry Anderson.
