EDIT: Oh, turns out he did, though it's a touch different.
The weapons look decent, but the one that really sticks out in Motormaster's sword. Makes me really want this one to get a stateside release.

That's right. Thundercracker and Motorbreath will be included in an upcoming Walmart exclusive gift set with repaints of RtS Laser Prime and Jazz. Don't expect name changes however, as "Motormaster" has been out of Hasbro's reach for years.

Ah, I'd completely forgotten about that. The previously unreleased G2 Combat Hero Prime deco and the presumably G2 inspired Jazz deco.

It only cost me 13 compared to the 40+ for the Takara version. Now just need Skywarp.

o_O; Have you been living under a rock? These are Legends/Cyberverse Legion class figures.

I take you've never heard of Legends before, or as they're currently called Cyberverse Legion Class. Reveal the Shield had 6 of them, 5 new molds and a repaint:
- Optimus Prime
- Starscream
- Trailcutter
- Prowl
- Megatron
- Gold Bumblebee
Those "Happy Meal toys" are repaints of the first 4.

alrighty, so they are a different toyline so thats good to know. its just that the packaging looks exactly like the one my starscream from a few years back came in. so i thought they just dropped 10 notches in quality for no reason. lol

The presence of added weapons looks extremely nice as well, like getting more stuff for our money and more play value.

You must have Universe 2008 Starscream then. Generations and Universe share roughly the same style and colors:

You're not crazy, I saw chrome too.

Also, please explain why TF toys cannot be ordered directly from Asia? I bought iGear toys directly from their store, and they shipped from Hong Kong.

spiderbob007 wrote:If these are Asian exclusives, then why is the packaging exclusively in English, and says Hasbro instead of Takara Tomy?
That is because Takara is Japan only. Hasbro takes care of the rest of the world.

And, to clarify further, these are Asia exclusives, NOT Japan. Thus, these are Hasbro products, not Takara.
