Battle of the Boards Results - Seibertron.com Loses First Round

Tonight 5 members of Seiberton.com engaged in glorious battle in the Battle of the Boards tournament. Team Seibertron was made up of Fender Bender, Counterpunch, FirstGen, Sgt. Grumbles and Savage . We engaged last years winner Transformers Wiki, but in the end Wiki came out on top. In round 2 TFW lost to Team Canada, but in the end it was Wiki and TFCC fighting for 1st place. Wiki managed to come out ontop and win their second straight tournament.

Team Seibertron had a lot of fun and we look forward to next years Battle. Congrats to Transformers Wiki!

Knowing someone who competed two years in a row the BOTB is a VERY tough competition since the fans really take the time to think up the toughest questions they can. Next year visit my good friend Mr. Fuji first for some Japanese ceremonial salt to throw in their eyes.

So we lost to a 'board' devoted to Transformers Trivia which went on to win the tournament?

Bum luck drawing the most formidable opponent for the first round, but it sounds like we lost honorably.

That's a bummer about the loss. I know our crew had to have put up a hell of a fight. Well, let team Wiki enjoy it for a 2nd year. It'll be their last. Team Seibertron will prevail. And I'm with Liege, tailpipes and spuds are a nice match.

Ok, just so there is some context...no one on our side expected victory...but we knew we were going to have a good time.

NO ONE had more people there to cheer there team on. NO ONE was louder, laughing more, or having as good a time as us, and NO ONE gave Ric Alveraz as much shit as I did during the comp.

We won the arm-wrestling portion of the evening...that should count for a lot.

Wait a minute was Ric hosting or competing? I would really think it unfair if a guy who's on the board of the TFCC was able to compete.

TFW made sure I got the message that they think they are number one. They stuck 4 of their advertising post cards on my car. I guess vanity plates can get you in trouble. :lol:

Ya know, just throwing this out there; not winning isn't necessarily a bad thing. Not knowing everything about what is basically a 24 year old toy line is a GOOD thing.
