CrazyDevy has updated their website with pre-orders for their second product. CDMW-02 replaces Generation One Devastator's old thighs with new ones. They exhibit the articulation of today's standards. It will be released in January 2010, and pre-order costs vary from $22-$25, depending on when you pre-order the upgrade parts. Looks cool, but looks like no thigh swivel and no out swivel at the hip. but hey, it gives devy real legs!

It'd be nice if they offered more than one picture. Maybe some that aren't cropped? And what's woth the waist piece?

This *could* be better, but it's definately an improvement to Devestator's look!

Evidently it's pretty good. Although I must admit that this is gonna be a display piece more than anything, so even if the legs aren't so good, they'll bring G1 Devy up to Classics par.

My Devastator currently has a KO Long Haul wing holding the legs on, so this has to be an improvement on that! Preordered! =D

I already have the CDMW-01 and I have ordered the CDMW-02 as well. Shipment will be on the 26th of January, so I am looking forward to that! I hope CDMW-03 will be articulate fists :)

I got the head replacement today, and it's quite nice. Really looking forward to the hip upgrade.

I think the head and thigh replacement looks great, but does anyone know if there's gonna be a encore Devastator? Since some of us may or may not have a complete set of G1 constructicons to try out these replacements..

Same mold, so it shouldn't matter. The purple colors of G2 should fit with the purple colors of the thighs.

Hmm, I might just wait to see if they are going to do a complete G1 set instead of having me buy the head set, thigh set, and then the articulated hands set.

I have to wonder, are they ever going to just release a set that has all these upgrades all together, or is it just gooing to be piecemeal? I might get one big release, but these little releases drive me batty!

I rather like how they're doing it. It's easier to swing $20-30 at a time versus $80-100, after all.

Try getting a "China-clone) of the G1 set and how it works. I'm also stoked over this.
