Nice... very nice. Grimlock is a total win.

On Inferno, I'm REALLY surprised that there's no chrome on the bumpers, etc. This fire truck design screams "more chrome" to me. Oh well, not that it matters to me. Not going to get him anyway.

I don't know why, but Grimlock's colors aren't doing it for me. During the prototype phase, I was soo excited but seeing him in color makes me want to see what he can do first.

Grimlock looks great. I can't figure out how to justify $150 for him though. Priorities...

Inferno is a must-buy for me. He was one of those that I wanted when I was a kid, but never ended up getting.

Grimlock is spifferific, i was hopeing for kick-ass.
his clear chest thingy is rather cool, but when it becomes,
"look into the clear spot on my dino crotch" ;;)
...well thast a bit iffy :-?

Gotta say Im not totaly feeling Grimlocks colours, he looks too bright and shiny, the red hot pants in particular don't do it for me

Grimlock gets a meh from me. The prototype had me sold. Now that I see the colors I was a bit iffy. Then I realized he has the same tiny thigh syndrome that MP Megatron has and I'm now not interested at all. The rest of the figure is huge and bulky, and then he has twig thighs. $5 says that will be weak point on the figure, aka where he will crumple and topple most at.

Eh, saves me even more money now that I've put off buying anything retail at the moment.

hmmm.. with slightly more awake/alert eyes it is a little too red.. now ive kinda got my doubts if itll be this bright.. but as with all photos of yet to be released figures... we'll see in time.

my fiance said she thinks it might be a lil orangey-red on the final product..

I'd say 'Him Grimlock King' but that doesn't do justice to the figure!
I admit, I hope that Hasbro released one where the gold chest chrome is a more dull yellow like in the show, but I kinda likey the chromed look.
As for Inferno, I love it! I think that red (if it is actually that red) is just perfect for him and I'm glad there's not an overdose of chrome, just a really nice, suitable, mettalic silver paint.

Both figures look awesome! :grin:

I'm glad I've got this on pre-order. I'm not so sure about that tiny thigh syndrome, Muffin. Yeah, they do look a bit thin, but I don't think they're gonna be MP Megatron thin. Time will tell, of course, but I'm with GeeKee1, not buying this will lead to years of regret and expensive therapy.

My first thoughts when I saw inferno was it's photo shopped. What if that's true for Grimlock?? If they cut put a sky background, they could edit him to look better-painted.

Grimlock looks freakin' sweet! I want him so bad...but won't be able to afford him for a long time. :( I see no problems with his thighs, they're thciker looking than his G1 version in comparison, and nowhere near as scrawny as Megatron's.

Inferno looks good, I'll wait to see pics of the actual fig before I decide if the increased price is worth it.

It may be perhaps. The Hasbro Inferno photos have been photoshopped as well. It makes it hard to gauge what the red will look like in the end.

If you look at the bot mode pics - you'll see that he has red eyes in one picture and blue eyes in another.
