We have designed and scaled this item to fit perfectly with the G1 fans. The size of the Spike prototype is about 7-8 cm. We are currently working on finding the exact size we feel will be in line with the G1 toys. It also has wheels that will allow it to function and roll in alt mode. The item will be set for release late 2008 or sooner.
With regards to the TFA figures they will also be around 8 cm in size. As in the cartoon the toys seem to change scale a lot of the time, so we tried to come up with a size that will work with the deluxe and voyager class as that is what scale we think most of the toys will be released in.

| Re: Exo-Suit Spike - Impossible Toys (793088) Posted by Zordon on September 23rd, 2008 @ 8:33am CDT now if only they could make a real life adult size one | |
| Re: Exo-Suit Spike - Impossible Toys (793102) Posted by dragons on September 23rd, 2008 @ 8:45am CDT i like it what is that thing he transfomrs into? | |
| Re: Exo-Suit Spike - Impossible Toys (793103) Posted by tigertracks 24 on September 23rd, 2008 @ 8:47am CDT Didn't a gobot tank transform the exact same way? Futuristic looking, three cannon turret... | |
| Re: Exo-Suit Spike - Impossible Toys (793126) Posted by Bouncy X on September 23rd, 2008 @ 9:13am CDT thats pretty cool.....too bad they didnt make him transform into that little car thingy daniel's suit changes to in the 86 movie. or is a daniel toy coming as well? lol | |
| Re: Exo-Suit Spike - Impossible Toys (793162) Posted by --B-- on September 23rd, 2008 @ 9:49am CDT I have to admit, that's pretty cool. As long as it's not at some insane price, I may pick it up. | |
| Re: Exo-Suit Spike - Impossible Toys (793169) Posted by capellamusic on September 23rd, 2008 @ 9:56am CDT Really cool | |
| Re: Exo-Suit Spike - Impossible Toys (793216) Posted by Redimus GTS on September 23rd, 2008 @ 11:35am CDT Dear god that's aweful. | |

| Re: Exo-Suit Spike - Impossible Toys (793243) Posted by TFBuyer on September 23rd, 2008 @ 12:28pm CDT This is one of those "Sweet-idea-but-poor-execution" figures. I like the "robot" (?) mode, but just having it bend over to transform is weak. If we can get a fully poseable battle Roller custom, why not spend a bit more time on this? That said, it would be kind of neat to have one to stand next to my Bumblebee, gazing up at a suspended Unicron, saying, "Aw, s**t, what are we gonna do now?" | |
| Re: Exo-Suit Spike - Impossible Toys (793260) Posted by Sledge on September 23rd, 2008 @ 12:47pm CDT
Tank. | |
| Re: Exo-Suit Spike - Impossible Toys (793360) Posted by Scaleface on September 23rd, 2008 @ 3:36pm CDT I'd rather it turned into a giant Arcee head and had Daniel as the pilot. Then make a Cerebros head with Spike in it at the same scale. | |
| Re: Exo-Suit Spike - Impossible Toys (793365) Posted by Nightwalker on September 23rd, 2008 @ 3:46pm CDT That's awesome! They have to make a Daniel too. That transforms in that little 'car'. | |
| Re: Exo-Suit Spike - Impossible Toys (793455) Posted by Maldroth on September 23rd, 2008 @ 5:43pm CDT I think I'll have to get this to place with the 86 cast. | |
| Re: Exo-Suit Spike - Impossible Toys (793512) Posted by Bonger on September 23rd, 2008 @ 6:43pm CDT Wow, that is just one of the coolest things I have seen this year. | |
| Re: Exo-Suit Spike - Impossible Toys (793689) Posted by Auto Bot on September 23rd, 2008 @ 10:01pm CDT Wow. I've been imagining this Exo-suit toy since 1986! Now, it's finally here! One question though. Why is his transformation only involves bending down? | |
| Re: Exo-Suit Spike - Impossible Toys (793798) Posted by PrimulArchangel on September 24th, 2008 @ 1:37am CDT its cool and all , but it dont look like an EXO Suit, it just looks like a robot body with a head stuck on it .. The proportions are off.. Spike is suppose to be inside the suit , hes not suppose to be the suit , if they made the shoulders and stuff wider it would look like a suit someone could fit inside of .. | |
| Re: Exo-Suit Spike - Impossible Toys (793801) Posted by Blurrz on September 24th, 2008 @ 1:48am CDT Impossible Toys line-up for things they are making is pretty impressive. This thing fits the bill.. as always. | |
| Re: Exo-Suit Spike - Impossible Toys (793803) Posted by Bonger on September 24th, 2008 @ 1:57am CDT
True, but this look slike just a prototype. I'm assuming the production version will look a lot better. And even iof it doesn't, idc, I'm still getting it.
| Re: Exo-Suit Spike - Impossible Toys (793806) Posted by Auto Bot on September 24th, 2008 @ 2:05am CDT
I agree with that. And i'm not liking the bend-over mode.
| Re: Exo-Suit Spike - Impossible Toys (793809) Posted by Bonger on September 24th, 2008 @ 2:12am CDT It occurs to me. The chances are probably quite good of them doing Chip, Scuxxoid and Autobot X. | |
| Re: Exo-Suit Spike - Impossible Toys (793817) Posted by Auto Bot on September 24th, 2008 @ 3:01am CDT Hmm... then the sexy version of Mikaela? | |
| Re: Exo-Suit Spike - Impossible Toys (794224) Posted by RodimusConvoy13 on September 24th, 2008 @ 2:28pm CDT
there's a not sexy version???
| Re: Exo-Suit Spike - Impossible Toys (794414) Posted by TurbofireJames on September 24th, 2008 @ 5:45pm CDT I love the human characters. I think the figure does the movie enough justice to warrant a purchase. Theres no way to make a good looking exo suit unless you actually have a large suit and figure to put inside, so it looks less life robot with man head. | |
| Re: Exo-Suit Spike - Impossible Toys (794464) Posted by PrimulArchangel on September 24th, 2008 @ 6:21pm CDT They can make it look alot better. The Spik figure dont have to be huge , he can be the size of a MASK figure.. Then the EXO suit wouldnt have to be so huge. This things just all out of whack, his hands are bigger then his head lol and the alt mode is really bad.. Reminds me of a Gobot or Gumby figure. I would have liked it better if it was made like a Pretender and have a shell that a spike figure could fit into. | |
| Re: Exo-Suit Spike - Impossible Toys (794631) Posted by Auto Bot on September 24th, 2008 @ 9:57pm CDT
The one that comes with Movie Longarm? That's just half a Mikaela. And it ain't even sexy.
| Re: Exo-Suit Spike - Impossible Toys (794716) Posted by Bonger on September 25th, 2008 @ 1:58am CDT
Nice idea. | |
