Also, check out the spider mode for Airachnid, wish it didn't look like a helicopter with legs.

And damn, those Masterpieces get better with each new photo. I usually brush off complaints that, "HasTak needs to COMPETE with 3rd Party stuff instead of taking legal action", since it's more about different niches, but I never thought I'd see a Laserbeak that show-accurate from an official source; I keep having to remind myself that it's not a prototype from Fansproject or Impossible Toys. Hell, I'm almost ready to believe that even if Takara can't reproduce those dino-combiner cassettes because their molds are missing/damaged, they'll just plain 1-up the proud legacy of KOTOYS by doing entirely new and better sculpts of them! Hey, if the price of plastic ends up making legions of tiny Masterpieces economically viable, ya' never know.
Come on, Masterpiece Slamdance...

They took a second rotor from another Airachnid figure and stuck it on her copter's side.Bumblevivisector wrote:So the AM Airachnid actually has extra legs? Or am I misunderstanding something here? Not that it fixes most of the problems with that mold, but I may just have to shell out for her after all.

Well then... Looks like I'll be buying another Airachnid...

Airachnid's: Ida from "spider", or in Japanese supaida.
Swerve's: Sou, they were probably going for "SaW" given his weapon mode and Swerve's name.
And the turtle in the AMW series has his final name: Dado, from "turtle" or tatoru.

Battle Shield Optimus, a Toys 'R Us Japan exclusive. A repaint of the Arms Micron Voyager, he not only comes with the three G1-themed shield Microns, but also a cardboard trailer.

No no no, the one next to that! The illustration, rather than the photo.

Ah, thank you. I can stop overthinking it now.
