TF08 has done it again with a new first peek at an unreleased figure. This time we get a good look at Transformer: Revenge of the Fallen - Jolt!

Jolt is now confirmed as the Chevy Volt thanks to the images provided by TF08 showing a sample of the FAB card back.

i don't know... the chevy volt... is named "jolt"... i think that's just a tiny bit too corny for me.

Good lord... those arms. I'm guessing this is an "Under-3" toy.

...except it's probably $10 and not free in a Happy Meal.

It does look good for a Fast Action Battler. Deluxe should be awesome.

And whips? I hope that makes it into the deluxe somehow.

Ugly as we used to in Transformers movie based toys. Plus the real car itself its ugly too. People always complain about G1 was 22 min toy commercial, well, the Transformers are 2 hours of chevrolet cars commercial.

for a character who's bio makes him sound like an accomplished brawler he sure does look like he's lost a bunch of fight with that hammer smashed face of his.

He had also better not have fugly failing hook hand in the movie or on the larger figure or I'll plotz!

It's odd that they should pick a name already used for one of the repaints from the previous movie line.

It's also interesting when you consider that the name Jolt originated as one of the G2 decepticon Laser-rods. They could've picked one of the Autobot laser-rod names Electro or Volt(!).

The only downside I can see to that is it might make their whole marketing exercise a little too transparent.Image
