Without a doubt, this is the most detailed version of this character. Expect Starscream to arrive sometime in the first half of 2010.

I'd like to see more photos and different angles of the plane mode.

that is damn impressive, and a defo purchase, the thing that turned it round for me?!?!
the fact his arms actaully transform into his weapons, now you can't turn that level of design down
i'm glad i passed on the first ROTF version now

"Pop-out weapons", huh? Wasn't that promised us on ROTF Voyager Starscream?
EDIT- just noticed what appears to be nose landing gear in the wrong place. Uh-oh...
Agreed on the nose issue. But, I do think it may be from the angle of the picture. SO, agreed on both fronts.
Let us celebrate our alliance with the adding of chocolate to milk.

Absolutely, without a doubt, one of the best TransFormers I have ever seen and comes a dang close second to Optimus.
After seeing what they're capable of doing, there's absolutely no excuse for Megatron's design. (And I love my Leader Class Megatron figure. I do!)
Though, I'll say this...for Optimus, Jetfire, and Starscream...their awesomeness makes up for what Megatron lacks.

It's real dude... prepare the $50-60 you're gonna drop on it!

Still, I find the cockpit canopy to be unusually flat compared to the real FA-22 Raptor. Also, the area around the intakes look kind of bulky. But...it's overall detailing and superb bot mode accuracy is good enough to forgive the small flaws. Plus, the fact that the designers made his left arm convertible into a missile rack really impresses me. Hopefully, the gimmicks actually STAY on the toy this time, instead of being taken out in the final product like the Voyager.
And finally, no more limbs sticking out of his thrusters! And no gaudy transparent light-up barrels!
There really is a God!

$50-60 for this will still be cheap here in Norway. We have to pay $130 for Leader Prime and Leader Megatron. Devastator was a wopping £258.
So..no need to complain, dudes

No, I'll get him. I very much consider him to be a 'Classics' toy. They pretty much lifted his design elements straight from IDW's Stormbringer.

seriously though this looks pretty dang good! that would be cool if he had other features like his chainsaw, drool, or removable arm for megs or prime to beat him with, but i am very happy and grateful that hasbro made this awesome figure. cant wait for his release!
Posted by Autobot032 on October 25th, 2009 @ 12:03am CDT
He still won't beat out Optimus as the best figure of the line, but he'll come close.
I'm more angry that Megatron got the short end of the stick again. I wasn't at first, but after seeing the other Leaders...man, he got shafted.
I still love the figure, but dang.

I agree. As far as Megatron getting the shaft..he got the shaft in the movie from the get go.
