A picture has surfaced of the upcoming release of the Premium Movie Leader Class Optimus Prime. IN addition to more detailed paint apps, he gets a remolded head and a sword like from the movie!

Wish there was a closer picture of the remolded head. I'd like to see how different it looks.

I'd rather get NightWatch Prime.
You'd also think that a Premium Figure would have a Premium package.
I hope the new head and half assed sword make Hasbro alot more money.
However if they want my buck again, I want alot more bang!

same here.... but from the looks of its, its doesnt look too diffferent from the original one, if anything it just looks more pointy and defined

Man! Whats wrong with Hasbro. Sword wise they should have just sold it seperately, paint apps. I'd rather get Nightwatch prime like what Liege said. Anybody in here as more pics on this, specially in vechile mode.

See? Now I'm glad I passed on the first Leader Class Prime. The fact that this one's coming out with the sword is cool, since there will be more than just a new paint scheme differentiating my Nightwatch Prime & this one (when I get my hands on this Premium Leader Prime 
)...

dude, I wanted to get this one, kinda thinking about it now. I missed the initial released one... But I don't know if the sword changes back into the hand or not.... not really a significant color change, unlike the other premiums thus far... The head is ehh, not bad, but in alt mode, they cut two holes on top so that the antennas stick out. I dont think seibertron have the alt mode picture, but tfw has it/

This is the first one I wanted to get.
Instead I got Robovision Prime, then the Leader Prime, then I even picked up First Strike Prime (to go with the other G1 homages).
Finally, the only movie Prime I ever truly wanted is coming. I wish I would have known about the premium version before buying my original leader class.
Looks like I will be selling my leader prime and robovision prime to get the money for this one.
I was in the same boat with Megatron, except I never bought the original Voyager.

I think that I'll get a stalker Prime instead. I can just add silver paint to my original and make a sword myself if I really want to. As far as this premium series is concerned, I doubt that I'll even try to hunt any down. I'm satisfied with my originals for the most part.

How is average Joe consumer going to tell this apart from the other Optimus at a glance. I mean, really. "Hmm... wasn't this the same one that was here back before Xmas? They must not have sold... wonder why it's not on clearance..."

I have to wonder: when Hasbro did the original figures, did they perhaps not have the final versions to be used in the movie meaning the detailing for the entire first series was incorrect...thus we have the "Premiere" line- a line that is completely correct in its detailing. ILM must have made some final touches along the way, leading to minor differences between the toys produced by Hasbro initially for the movie. As a result we got figures that were a bit off from the final movie product.

Why are one of wheels missing?
Anyways I hope the sword can fold backwards and store itself into his hand. I passed on the first release. So I might consider getting this one.

One of the wheels is blending into the background of the box. I still would rather have the gun than the sword. Though if someone mass produces replicas, I will probably pick one up.

Doesn't look all that different from the original release. Except for the sword, it looks like Hasbro in this one. It seems the only premium in this figure is the price.

What a sneaky way to sell that sword! I'm actually going to pass on this one. Like others have said ... it doesn't look all that different from the original.

Totally lame... for a 'premium' figure, I expected something at least packaged and painted like the Best Buy exclusive metallic Ratchet and Megatron... this looks nearly identical to the normal Leader Prime... and I like prime with the gun...
