they should have put in a g1 prime instead.

How very lame.

Interesting, though I don't think I'm alone when I say I'd rather they dove back into the old molds and used the *real* G1 Prime (oh my god! Windy's advocating for G1! It's the APOCALYPSE!). Might not be up to par with today's stuff, but hey, they reissued Soundwave for Classics...
And yeah... FAB Optimus... why? Woulda been cooler if it was one of the better looking Movie Primes, like the Voyager, but that would probably jack the prices up and the sizes would be vastly different. Ah well.

I think i can easily do without this completely useless release.

Technically that is a G1 Prime ...

I'm taking bets on who gets this exclusive,
TARGET vs. WALMART

Well since Target is getting quite a few exclusive I would say this may be a Wal-Mart excluive since there is also no Target sticker on the package.

I love the packaging, it'd make for a great display.

That's not 1894 Prime, it's a 2006 homage to 1984 Prime.

The guy who originally posted it suggested keeping it as a misb display piece and i kinda agree with that, the package looks nifty, and it is a nice concept-but they ccould have used better figures
on the plus side we now know exactly how tall the fab are!

Paaaaas!
Ninja Sixshot has it right: They should have used G1 Prime, not Classics UB Prime, which I already have.
That, and I can't stand that version of Movie Prime. The head's alot better than Voyager version, but based on what I've seen Voyager version's a better version than either figure in this set.

It's something like this that makes me wonder where the line is that I plan on drawing with movie merchandise. I think I no longer need to wonder. The line has been drawn.

Since I already have the classics Prime and I can pick up the FAB Prime I see no reason to get this set unless it comes with a DVD that has some really cool stuff on it.

Bah...
I'd care more if one of them at least got repainted...
And that's hardly a 1984 Prime.

I'll only buy this if the price is pretty close to FAB Prime by itself. Otherwise, I'll pass as I already have that Classics Prime.

I love the concept here, but I hate the versions of the figures they used. I have to say that this piece has more potential for collectors to purchase it, so why not do it right? I still might get it to display MISB, as suggested earlier in this thread.

Lame Set. Already have the Vs pack Prime, not to shabby in Robot mode, but Vehicle mode is just sad. FAB Movie prime, is not worth the plastic its molded in. I'll take the Voyager any day.
and a Voyager Movie Prime, and G1 re-issue Prime two-pack would be so cool.
So are we gonna Get a FAB Megs + Vs Pack Tank Megs set also???

Whoa, we got a Prime way back in 1894?! /sarcasm
On topic: It's a definite "meh" at this point, my brother really wants the two pack Prime, but I'm still iffy about the FAB one, which he hates. Maybe if one of us sees it on clearance.
