IDW Publishing's Editor in Chief Chris Ryall has once again updated his blog, this time with two new images from "Transformers: The Ark Compendium II", which will be released this week.

The included images are the final cover and a sample image from the book itself, which profiles all the characters from the Japanese Generation 1 series.

Thanks for picking up on that, Sabrblade. The cover was designed to tie thematically into the cover for The Ark I. The Ark I features the transmutation of one villainous leader into another . . . The Ark II mirrors that by calling to mind the transformation of one heroic leader into another.
