The only thing I like better are the double sided red wings. I would have preferred both sides of the original to have the nice dark red of the upper side.

The red on this one is too bright for me though. Sometimes cartoon accuracy is not a good thing.

Is it just me, or do the wings look like they have been slightly retooled?

Meh, I got two classics Rammy's so this is no big to me. Looks like slightly better detail around the cockpit area, but no big. I like my HASBRO versions just fine.

Yeah, I like what they've done with the cockpit, but for me that's totally outweighed by the rest of the figure. The red is too bright, and the white unbroken by anything else is dull. I really, truly, honestly think the Hasbro version is a lot better.

well, ya got me sledge. henkei version is stinkier. but i think if i really cared that much i would still get one to have the shiny weapons and put them on the hasbro version, but i don't.

Looks a little plain and I agree, the red is too bright. I'll stick with my Hasbro version.

Yea you are right. The gray leading edge of the wings were what I was talking about. With it being the same color as the missles it was hard to tell, now that they are red the "points" are visible. :oops:

I can't see spending the extra money in import fees and whatnot on this one...Hasbro's is decent enough.....Rare for me not to say a Henkei is totally superior over a Classics, but this is one of those times!

This one is twice more accurate than the Hasbro version.

Being an update of the G1figure, it should be that accurate.

FPC'd and I really like the chromed engines and wings! It adds a certain something.

I think the Henkei one is a great improvement over the classics incarnation, however I do not like the white fists and feet, they should be that charcoal grey in my opinion. I will stick with my modified classics Ramjet, and save some money. (I repainted the chest area and removed the stripes from the back of his legs)

I do not like this deco. The red and chrome are doing nothing for me. I don't particularly like chrome to begin with because of its fragile nature, and I just don't think that it looks good on the tail fins. I like the original much better.

Also surprised that there's no chrome on the missile launchers.

I'll pass, thanks. meanwhile, I sit and wait for affordable classics thundercracker, dirge and of course thrust.

I'll stick w/Hasbro on this one. I actually like the colors of Classics Ramjet rather than Henkei Ramjet. The red is a tad too bright & the hands & feet being all white just don't work for me. Classics Ramjet wins this one. 8)

I'd have to agree with everyone else. The cartoon accuracy is nice, but eh... not enough of a good difference to change my mind. My wallet gets to breathe for another minute.

Henki, well don't feel like finding for on Ebay or any other place.

I also prefer the Hasbro version, but the only thing that keeps me debating is that I'll have all G1 anime-accurate Seekers, except for Ramjet.

This makes me want to color match the red on Classics Rammy's wings and paint the underneath to be a match the top of the wings. Has anyone else done this? If so, what color of red was used?

He looks good, the chrome on the engines and cockpit fit very well and look great - all that white is alittle startling but he is the White Seeker after all so I can deal with it.

I like this one a schoche more, but I already own all 6 Classics seekers, so I'll pass.

I find it amusing that you hear so much complaining about geewunners demandind everything must be G1, but then people bitch when Hasbro update stuff. Some days, they must wonder why they bother. Anything they do will be wrong.

Anyhoo, I just hope Takara decide to round out the Seeker set, instead of releasing Acid Storm.

I wouldn't expect an Acid Storm from TakaraTomy.
I would expect a Sunstorm.

I actually really dig this version and am glad I preordered it.

I think it's better than Hasbro's version, and like how they incorporated the chrome.

Mind you, I haven't got Classics Ramjet, and there's no cosmic law saying I can't custiomise this into something more... attractive.

I like the Hasbro version better. This one, with the cheesy-looking "chrome" and bright red fins, looks more like a cheap drugstore knock-off.

I have Hasbro and Henkei Megatron and the Chrome Henkei has a much better colour scheme.

On topic, I prefer Hasbro Ramjet's colour scheme but I do like this one. Reminds me of G2 Starscream and both Ramjets are different enough to pass as seperate characters hence another member of my seeker army.

Would like to see this mold in G2 Ramjet's colours and made another new seeker character like Acid Storm, possibly the G1/Classics version of Animated's female seeker whose colour scheme reminds me of G2 Ramjet.

On a side note, Acid Storm is mong the best TF news I've heard this year. Can never have too many seekers.

I really like what they do with the chrome too. Ijust got Hot Rod, and I think he looks amazing with his chrome, and a few other new details. Heel yeah, he's sweet, and pimped!

Totally agree, the chrome adds alot to most of the Henkei figures - they are nice things.

If I already had a Classics Ramjet I'd probably pass on this, but since I do not, come to ME, Henkei Ramjet.
