ACToys have posted an image of MGT-02 Firestar. This is from the same company that has recently produced an Arcee figure. It is not from Impossible Toys though. Click here to see the thread on ACToys.

Pretty damn ugly but i like it....like it alot. She's got a great retro space look.
I've always liked ugly TF's and this fits the bill. If she's not too pricey i'd buy her for sure.
Sure she has kibble on the back but they're getting the femeinine aspect of these TF's down now which is important. Hard to get that classic cartoon feminine look without kibble in my opinion.
If you had panels attached to the arms and big blocky legs you'd totally lose the look. So i don't mind the kibbble on the back.
I even like the wheels dangeling off the thighs.

Mmhh, I think I like it quite much (aside from the turd-helmet) The articulation is quite good, and with a more careful paint job it could be really nice. Let us wait for the price tag nevertheless...

Where did these guys get the idea that there was enough demand for these characters to make it financially viable to make them?

Other than companies making Quintessons, Springer, Arcee, Hearts of Steel Prime, the Autoscouts, the MP Coneheads, and all the other 3rd party merchendise?
If it were MUCH cheaper it might even have been worth getting. But, as you say .... candle wax. The headsculpt alone makes it not worth it.

i keep looking at her and she looks like a female version/sister of G1 Repugnus to me. Same colours and backpack and little beady eyes in bot mode. Now she needs to shoot sparks and i'd be sold.

Actually this is being made by the same people who made Delicate Warrior, who is considerably better than IT Valk. Hopefully the pics we've seen are only prototypes. They did a great job on Delicate Warrior. I've got both and there's really no comparison.

Those pictures make the plastic look really cheap and flimsy. But I would order Firestar simply because I don't have her yet.
