Jokes and similarities aside, The-Arker shows us images of Animated Activators Armor Up Optimus Prime, playing a heavy homage to Generation One Star Convoy. We get a look at Armor Up Optimus Prime's package, and his biography, which reads as:
Armor Up Optimus Prime is a Wave 7 Activators release, along with Activators Battlefield Bumblebee. They are preceded by Wave 6 Activators, Fireblast Grimlock and Soundwave.

In preparation for a massed attack on the Decepticons, Optimus Prime orders his autobots to upgrade their armor. Working with Autobot Ratchet, he mounts improved armor plating on his frame, giving him the toughness he needs to withstand even the most powerful fusion blast.
