"6 modes"? Sounds pretty desperate. It's not like when the Stunticons first came out Hasbro was saying "11 modes!"

Well, let me guess:

1) Spidey robot
2) Tony robot
3) Spidey copter
4) Tony plane
5) Super combiner plane, and
6)...combiner robot ?

That would be great !

Bumblebeast you are spot on with your guess as to the 6 modes. But the only one worth a crap is the super bomber mode. A buddy of mine got these about a week ago and he enjoys that mode the most. I must agree sadly, the robot modes suck.

Well, at least we know this means there will be a black/grey repaint of this product. There's a combiner robot mode? Don't remember anything about that being mentioned before... :???:

I've thought about it, and I *still* can't work out why Iron Man would need to transform into a plane.

Given that he has the power of flight, and all.

I guess he exchanges maneuverability for speed. Like Miles Mayhem.

Ah... MASK. Switchblade was my favorite vehicle (still is) but I never got why a helicopter needed to change into a plane.

Because all things being equal a jet is faster...

That and they don't have the same issues with loops and Barrel Rolls that Copters have. But then you can land a copter in a standard parking lot if need be but you can't do that with a VTOL jet. Unless you want to take the parking lot up with you when you leave.

As for the need for Ironman to transform into a plane? That's just part of the genetic hard-wiring of human males. A VW Jetta will get me from A to B so do I really need my 3.8L High Output V6? Ask the youngster in the Accura Integra that I embarassed last night when the light turned green. Yeah, Ironman "needs" the bigger engines.

Same with the Star Wars crossover figs...does Obi-Wan transform into a little mini Jedi Starfighter, or are we talking about a giant mechanical Obi-Wan here?
I bought the Iron Man corssover fig...craptacular...It's just...well I know I see a decent Transformer in there somewhere...just haven't figured it our yet.

My Alero sneaks up and preys upon ricers. Like putting more stickers on thier cars will make them go faster...I also dig the spoilers that look like park benches.
Lemme guess...the Acura had those auful fart cans that make the car sound like a kazoo???
LOL

The exhaust was fairly good size, I noticed it as I rolled up to the light. Couldn't tell you what it sounded like because 1) My stereo overpoewers all outside noise and 2) I was laughing so damn hard cause the guy got flustered and bobbled his shift from 2nd to 3rd so badly that his car lurched. The reason for his getting flustered??
The afore mentioned 3.8L V6 (same engine as what is in the 2001 Ford Windstar Van) and the heavy-metal-blaring stereo are all contained in a '93 Taurus 4 door wagon. My last ticket I got clocked doing 20 over uphill and I was gaining speed.(60+ in a 40 zone) I had just hit the Overdrive when I saw the Motorcycle Cops lights in my rear-view.
So yeah, I take great pleasure in embarassing guys in their farting imports. When a "soccer-moms" car can out run and out manuver "performance" cars it shoots their egos all to hell.

I can totally understand why Iron-Man would need the extra jet mode. It's not so much about the speed, it's the sheer entertainment value.
