In-Hand Images: Transformers Prime Deluxe Sergeant Kup

I guess this doesnt look tooooo bad, but I am starting to get annoyed at all the Ironhides companies are producing with the massive Movie arm cannons (Yes, I know this is Kup)!

Lets leave them with the movie figures, not new G1 or Prime inspired versions please!

I'm glad they included shots of the Deluxe and the Scout side by side. In previous posts that showed pics of Kup, there were people who thought it was just a repaint of Scout Ironhide.

Really? I think Ironhide makes perfect sense with the giant canons. There are far more invasive things than a couple of canons for Ironhide that has become a plague to the franchise.

I don't see the problem. Isn't Ironhide a weapons specialist/warrior/bodyguard? Seems appropriate that he should have huge arm cannons. Maybe the G1 figure didn't have them, but so what? Things change and evolve. TFs would be pretty boring if they just kept making the same figures over and over.

Also, they're removable, so I don't see why they would annoy you.

This is so Ironhide. I want an Ironhide.

I know what ya mean about the giant cannons , they could have at least give kup some different weapons. Ironhide's the way to go for this mold he will replace my classics.

He looks pretty cool. Though i wish he was a voyager. Same with ratchet, hes too small compared to bumblebee

This actually looks a lot better as Kup than I expected it to. I like the mis-transformation they did in the one shot toward the end. It's still a pass for me though.

pretty cool to me. I do have one complaint though.Was just at walmart and seen foc prime and jazz. When in the hell did hasbro jack the prices up to 15.47!!! Im sorry but im officially done collecting. I cant justify that much for a smaller size deluxe. It truly breaks my heart.

He's looking pretty tasty. The hollow legs are a little weak but that's a minor complaint. Please give us Ironhide, Hasbro.

Well, the set does come with two heads. So no matter what you do, you still have a few extra heads laying around. xD Might as well use 'em!

Big fat doubt. He'd more than likely be a Breakdown repaint. That's just in hopes Hasbro makes their own mold of Breakdown.

I am fine with Transformers that we know and love evolving as the lines move on.
My point was the Movie Ironhide cannons which have now been intergrated into every new version, even 3rd Party Ironhides.
Yes I know he's a 'weapon specialist' blah blah but the same can be said for the non-speaking Bumblebee! I mean wtf, give him his voice back and Dan Gilvezan a job!! (again, I know this is Kup but hey...)

Got mine on pre-order, here's hoping Hasbro do the Ironhide repaint too

Oh, I thought it was a typo when more Season two was announced! How weird to have a hiatus like that.

So, no sign of Kup or Ironhide in the show so far and they're releasing these two toys that I don't think look very 'Primey'.

I really like that head. he looks like an ultra drill sergeant, sergeant slaughter even.

I do love this as Kup, as that generations one was a disaster. As for repaints, give me GEARS over Ironhide as a pickup.

They best repaint this or I'm going to be very unhappy I didn't get the mold. Love the figure,but not as Kup. Too beefy, good for a pre-war maybe, ike the Botcon Wings set used him but a modern old fart this is not. Plus, the SSR is a cool truck, and him being able to hold a Shotgun right in robot mode is just too awesome. So for now, in Green, this is barely a pass.

That mold was a cross between a 40's and current pick up, that one was retarded. G1 Kup was a Cybertron form. But to each their own. The one in this thread is the only other besides the G1 I have liked so far.
