Nice box, shame about the contents.

I wish the Encore Skids came with the little motorbike like these guys do.

I like the figure but not enough to buy them off sale. Maybe BBTS will put them on mega-clearance in a year like they did with vomit-Ratchet.

Nope, I do not support G1 repaints.

It's neither. They're based on Movie Skids and Mudflap, the Diaclone version can be viewed here. That's where eHobby Crosscut got his colors.

I think he means that it's a repaint of the Diaclone production of the toy indicated by the inclusion of the scooter, which the Gen1 toy and its reissue did not include...

not that it was repainted to recreated Diaclone colors.

I like them. Although if you were really homaging the Movie twins in G1, I'd have used the Cliffjumper mold since technically they're Mini-Autobots.

That said, of all the cool Autobots in the Movie and Animated, why would anyone homage the worst Autobot characters since Energon Ironhide?

Also, why use the name Screech instead of Mudflap? Or maybe call them Mudflap and Screech since we already have a G1 Skids of the same mold. Is this one of those annoying cases then, where a repaint is meant to be the same character rather than a new one?

I'll end up getting them at some stage since I'm a sucker for anything that expands G1, especially new characters like these guys and Acid Storm. Also love the Diaclones. Plus they'll look good with Skids and Crosscut who I have already.
