It's Not A Real Design For ROTF 'Stinger's' Head, Is It?

I'm not posting this as news, but a rumor for discussion because it appears to be a false lead, but popular and reliable source s250 found an image of a certain Corvette movie bot's head over on the ACToys web page.

The reason this was thought to be real is because this person, claiming to at least have TF2 designs, was soliciting help to create bootleg movie TF toys of this character that he had the designs for.

The theory that this was legit was shot down by 'THE TRANSFORMERS LIVE ACTION MOVIE BLOG' because, well the 'designer' claimed it was for the Corvette ZR1. TFLAMB replies that shouldn't a designer have known this car was not a ZR1, but what has recently been confirmed as the Chevy Corvette Centennial edition?
