Tennessee- Not the normal place for new releases to show up first, but Tennessee is where Allspark member, Agent X found this 12 pack of minicon repaints. So you may want to stop ignoring the K-Mart on your way home from work or school, and drop in to see if they have a set for you. Retail is set at $24.99.
You can see his original post, as well as, a link to a downloaded picture of the set by clicking here.
EDIT: Also Available at K-Mart.com!!! Thanks HighPrime.
Found anything worth noting lately? A first releases of something, or just something newer? Let you fellow Seibertronians know where they can look by posting in the appropriate Sightings Forum Thread, and in The Sightings Database.

Knockdown is an Autobot and Boltflash is a Decepticon? Didn't expect that.
Additionally, anyone else find the Safeguard and Overcast teams to just be an odd mix?

darn it, you beat me with the Woolies news. Except the pack is 34.99 in the Uk, which works out something like $3,000,000.

You can also pick them up online at K-mart by going here:
http://www.kmart.com/shc/s/p_10151_10104_004W112410110001P
Sign-up for their mailing list and you'll get 2 $5-off coupons. One you can use online, and the other you can use if you go in-store, making these only $19.99 (gotta spend $50.00, though).
Free shipping if you spend $99, but other than Universe Micromaster Superion, everything they have can be found elsewhere, and for cheaper.

Not been in a Woolies recently? It's £17.49. The £34.99 price was just so they could drop the price to what they always intended to sell it for and claim it was half price.

Reason enough, for me
Plus, these latest generation of mini-cons are pretty involved. Some of the steps for transformation rival Leader Class figures (hello, Animated Megatron), and certainly beat out the legends series 9 times out of 10.

It's funny you mention that, since I pretty recently picked up a complete Universe Superion from none other than CVS. Seems they're the only store that carries them anymore, either
Also, just picked this up in San Diego, CA at a Sears Essentials. If anyone else lives around there, there were a few left! And a Cybertron Legends Soundwave @_@

I'm beginning to suspect that CP has Minicon's that Takara never even gave names to. Where the heck is your minicon article?
I wanted to get into Minicon's, but I don't have the time to sit down and hunt down every single one of them. I'm happy with the few I have from Armada and will glady add this set to my collection. I may even buy 2!

Got mine!
Thoughts:
Makeshift and Knockdown are assembled wrong. Their legs are attached to the wrong sides of the pelvis. Simply pop off the legs and swap them.
The packaging says "Armada Series", which is incorrect. While Mini-Cons are from Armada originally, these are Classics Mini-Con molds. That aside...
What the hell is up with the Bio on the back of the package? "Many Mini-Con teams were broken apart or destroyed utterly by the greed of the Decepticons, or the desperation of the Autobots." Meow? Since when? Revisionist history if you ask me.
The packaging gives factions to the individual Mini-Cons, they however do not have any faction symbols other than the Mini-Con one.
All that junk aside, these are great Mini-Cons!
This set is easily on par with MB1 and MB2 in terms of cool.
All the figures have individual paint aps and are fairly unique in their look.
Boltflash, Flatfoot, and Bodyblock are easily my favorites.

Tell me about it. It was like they locked the doors in the 70's and only open it up to sell pink sweat pants and broken kiddy pools.

I used to like K-Mart, but then they opened a Wal*Mart near It and ran it out of buisness.

WalMart is like a massive vacuum for businesses. Unless you're a restaurant, you won't last long next to WalMart.
I'm going to have a heck of a time tracking these down. K Mart's in my area don't like to stock good stuff.

I have the worst luck with Kmart's. I usually never find what I'm looking for and almost always leave pissed off. It's been 3 years since I last stepped into a Kmart. There's only one in my area and gas prices won't let me drive over all of God's green earth (or sandy) to find them. I'll probably end up buying them online somewhere.
If you track them down I'll pick'em up from you. I go to ASU west everyday and since you live in Peoria I'm assuming you live close by to them.

I noticed Knockdown and makeshift's funky legs first thing, but luckily it's an easy fix. Overall, I'm loving this set. The paint apps are surprisingly good, and I love the paint homages they've thrown in:
Heavytread - Warpath
Boltflash - Nightflight (Or Leader-1! zomg gobots)
Skyhammer - Uhm, Skyhammer XD;
etc etc.
All in all, worth braving the terror that was K-Mart's affiliates.
