Lots of new Transformers figures have been showing up in Canada the last two weeks. Today, thanks to some directional help from a fellow Seibertron.com member I happend to stumble upon and confirm that now the Marvel Crossovers are available at retail.

If you didn't already know who's in the first wave, it consists of Ironman, The Hulk, Spider-Man & Venom. The figures are being sold for $19.98 at Walmart.

So how about it? Have you seen these figures at your local retailer? Why not let everyone know where you saw them and how many were filling the shelves in our Sightings Section

I just found the first wave of those little Classics Legends at TRU last night. Leo Prime(Lio Convoy), Trypticon, Fireflight, and Perceptor. They look good but they're a dollar more than the Cybertron ones.

Not sure why there have been price hikes of late on most items. Price of oil reason is getting old but is the most likely cause.

Glad to see that the Forums are back online!
In B.C. all of the Toys R Us have Wave 1 of Classics Legends but still no sign of Wave 2 Deluxes or Jetfire. Has anyone even seen Jetfire on Canadian shelves yet? How I long for him...

QFT!

I am going bonkers waiting for him. I have heard from past posts that he is coming two per box in the latest shipments alongside OP so we should have an easy time finding him soon.

As mentioned in the very first post :P Jetfire was spotted at a Wal-mart here in Ontario along with Grimlock and Mirage.

As Zed was saying we should be getting the two per case assorments of Jetfire and two of Grimlock assortments as well.

TRU Brossard (South Shore of Montreal, Quebec) has received the Classics Legends of Cybertron figures. I'm dubbing these guys 'Classics of Cybertron.'

Aside from that, they also have the Marvel Legends Wave with Hercules and Planet Hulk, and a Wave of Ghost Rider Figures. Plus some new Star Wars Basic Titaniums - the TIE Interceptor and the B-Wing Fighter. I'm thinking of getting both.

So the cry babies over at TFW and Cybertron.ca were complaining that we were lying because there was no pictures taken of Grimlock, Mirage and Jetfire.

From my experience, the folks outside of toronto get figures before them.

What do you guys think? Should we have asked Dark Knight for pics before posting it as news or do you think we were still in the clear for posting it as news? I would really like your oppinions on this one for next time we trump them on news and they have to find a better excuse for not getting it first.

I think that it should be posted in the News, but make sure that you add something like "There are no photos, so take it with a grain of salt" or something like that. I believe Dark Knight, but having no photos in the News Story means that there is no hard evidence.

I personally don't care if there are pictures or not cause I don't think anybody would purposely lie. Maybe they might make a mistake on identifying a figure if they are not a big fan.

If you want to have credibility though, I think you should have pictures unless it is a trusted source.

Also, I feel Sunstar's pain because she DID post first.

No, we don't need proof from him. I also live in Mississauga and there's been many times that a tip from Dark Knight has lead me to picking up the latest Transformers.

In this case I didn't have a chance to go out this week, but in the past he's always been reliable.

I think the Walmart closest to him is close to the distribution centre and they tend to get things a week or so before they come to my part of Mississauga (south of there).

Also, I think a lot of us have been around this board long enough to trust in eachother... :)

Appreciate the support.

I would have taken a picture but I'm kind of lazy. Had I known the credibility of Seibertron.com was going to be questioned I would have gotten off my ass and taken a picture.

Like Down_Shift said. I think they were upset that they didn't find them first.

Comments on Grimlock, Jetfire, Mirage:

Grimlock - A great addition to my collection. IMO looks better in dino mode.

Jetfire - Currently in contention for being my favourite Classics figure.

Mirage - Complete dissapointment. Alt. mode is alright. Bot mode looks like a twig.

I agree, I don't see any reason for someone to lie about posting a new sighting. There are a few stores in Toronto that I can go to right now and buy Ramjet and Cliffjumper and post pics with a wal-mart recipt but that doesn't prove anything to me. We've posted news about Canadian sightings in the past and credability has never been brought into question before.

As for the new thread, it was nothing against Sunstar or Zed, but I was asked to lock the two and make a new one to maintain.

Your right I should have mentioned that there were no pics. I should have called the Wal-mart for a personal confimation as well. I have unlimited Long Distance so it wouldn't have been a big deal to me.

After Seibertron had a bit of a crash we last all sorts of old data so we had to start anew. Sorry bro, lots of happey memories in the old thread.

As for MP Starscream where abouts do you live? If your in Toronto, I always go to the snail. If you live close to Beastwarrior and The Touch then I hear Legends is good.

Toy Square in Makham is also a good place. Nice display window too.

I agree, I trust everyone here with the utmost respect.

I don't think anyone here expected a picture from you, I know I didn't. As for TFW, I say leave them to their own devices. I've talked to Collen many times and I know alot of other mods on the boards don't care much for him, but he takes alot of pride in Cybertron.ca. If it were easier to submit sightings to them I'm sure we'd all be able to help out more with Canadian sightings as a whole. I'm not in it for the competition, just to get the news out there.

Gotta say, I'm surprised you don't like Mirage. I like Jetfire alot, but I think I like Mirage better. Very poseable.

I went a couple places tonight...

South Common Walmart had assorted junk. That's what it seemed like. They had a pile of Cybertron and Classics mixed on the shelf, all old stuff, zero organization.

Oakville Walmart had the wave 1 deluxe classics and minicons and a few primes....

Superstore next to the walmart had nothing. It was a pretty disappointing trip.

String of updates here: Wal-Mart restocked and I picked up Rodimus, Bumblebee, and Mirage (no Grimlock), as well as Megatron. Also picked up the $40 Primus at Toys'R'Us.

I don't know why Dark Knight doesn't like Mirage, because he's fantastic, he's up there for one of my favorite characters. He's slick looking, and super-posable. I love it!

Down_Shift wrote:So, the last big news was Zed and Beastwarrior (sorry man, not doing the numbers :P ) finding Primus for $40. BTW, there is quite a funny story about this, I'll post it a little later.

(looks at joined date) Oh crap!

No new TFs on the South Shore of Montreal, but I did contact Legends Action Figures, and they said that they are expecting a shipment of TFs soon, including more Classics. I asked them about Ultra Magnus and Skywarp, I think that they are expecting them too. I'll report any further findings.

I went around a few places today...

TRU Mississauga - no new Titaniums... They had a huge stack of Primus for $40. They had the first wave of the classics LOC. They had all the stuff that's been out for a while. They also had quite a few Tarantulas toys...

BTW - they also had the 12" Marvel Legends Icons from Hasbro (Thor and Wolverine). I picked up Thor.

Zellers Square One - Not much.

Zellers Walmart - Not much... They had lots of the 3" Titaniums up to the series with Galvatron and Rodimus...

South Common Walmart - They had the series 2 classics out. At least two of each. They had all the 3" Titaniums.

Overall nothing worth writing about, nowhere had the new 6" Titanium Soundwave or Rodimus...

We better have more sightings, I had to rescue this topic from many pages back. :)

sq.1 walmart has

2 pack Classics Optimus vs. Megatron with dvd

i picked it up, brought it home, hoped to be thrilled by it.

my god i was soooooo disappointed in the figures.

prime's punch action was horrible......it only made his waist spin and spin and spin. it doesn't even lock in place.

just picture it this way. you pose your prime but from the waist up it turns to the right cuz it doesn't stay in place.
the plastic was horribly manufactured.....and the head sculpt looked wierd when you look through primes eyes. he looks like a japanese bunny with those anime type eyes.

meg's was some what bette. a little more sturdy but fell apart all over. he didn't lock in place sometimes and his spinning action on his arm.....kept popping off.
again....cheap plastic and didn't hold in place.

now for the dvd..........WHAT A WASTE OF $33.

the dvd that came with this set was merely a cut and paste of clips from Armada, Engeron, and Cybertron. it was just prime talking about what are transformers, where they come from, the factions, why they transform......VERY VERY VERY BORING.
i was expecting like a Robot Masters clip. something new and different but incorporated Transformers Classic line of figures.
let's put it this way. it looks like something you can put together using Window's Movie Maker.

honestly.....this is a set to avoid. just horrible!

I kept mine though, just for the sake of having it. I do like Megs' tank mode, he'll probably never transform ever again. Optimus will never spin again!!! The DVD is at the bottom of my collection.

I was Agincourt Mall (Sheppard/Kennedy) last week, there wan't much, an opened Primus, 3 Classics Optimus, 12 Titanium Hot Rods, 7 Titanium Thundercrackers, 1 Classic Bumblebee, and a few SWTFs...think I saw Jango Fett, didn't pick him up.

I just ordered Ramjet and Mirage from Kooltoyz. They've also got Cliffjumper and Grimlock listead as in-stock. I mention them because they're a Canadian retailer. They have an $8.99 (can) flatrate shipping, which works out better if you order more since you're paying the same.

I've purchased a couple of things from them so far, and have had excellent service:

Just picked up Classics Jetfire and Titanium Soundwave at TRU (not sure if Jetfire's been sighted there yet...). Jetfire rocks, a fine way to end the line for me. Soundwave's about the same as most Titanium's, cool looking, but some problems. My biggest problem is getting his legs to stay straight in robot mode. I really dig the tape deck mode though (then again, I've never had a tape deck Soundwave, so this is new for me). Laserbeak's underwhelming at best.

Well, wave 2 has FINALLY hit the west coast. I saw Mirage and Grimlock at Zellers in Langley and the Langley TRU has a couple of Mirages. Still no fickafrackin' Jetfires tho...

Haven't seen any of the new titaniums yet. The $40 Primus is still rocking steady at all of the TRU in the LowerMainland. Any other tf hunters in the Vancouver area let me know whats around in your neck of the woods.

On a side note I have a few Magnus vs. Skywarp Packs for sale. PM me if you're interested. or just look here:

I haven't seen them, nor Wave II regular Classics, in Quebec yet. Damn, I want my Jetfire and Mirage!!

EDIT: Ramjet, Mirage, Grimlock, and Cliffjumper are now at Legends Action Figures in Montreal! I haven't visited them since before Christmas, I better head on down there soon!

I picked up some of the wave 2 minicons at the Brampton TRU. Other than that, they had the usual wave 1 & 2 things, plus a million of Primus.

On Cybertron.ca, they're saying Ramjet and Cliffjumper are at various Walmarts (Sherway Gardens and one in London)... I may check around over the next few days...

Booyeah! Classics Wave II has reached southern Quebec!

TheTouch and I went to the Brossard TRU, where we found Mirage, Jetfire, and Wave 2 Mini-Cons. I guess someone else grabbed the last Grimlock. I got Skyfire and Mirage, I'm happy!

I found the Predator and Clear Skies teams at TRU yesterday in Saint John, but the third of the wave 2 teams was nowhere to be found. Did they sell out super fast, or were they shortpacked, or what? Anyone else having trouble finding them?

Nope, I saw them yesterday. There're the planes, the animals, and the stunt driving vehicles.
