Seibertron.com was paid a visit recently by Jeff Jaworski, creator of ComicBook-Art.com and was given the opportunity to be some of the first fans in the Transformers Universe to purchase some exclusive cover art for some of the Marvel Transformers comics done in the 80's and on. Here's what Mr. Jaworski had to tell us here at Seibertron.com:
Hi everyone,
Herb Trimpe was the artist for many of the original issues of the Marvel Comics Transformers series.
Herb has two covers that he drew that he is offering for sale. One is the cover to Transformers #24, the other is the cover to the GI Joe and Transformers mini-series #2.
For those unfamiliar with the production process, the original artwork is done in pencil and ink, usually at 11"x17". The colors are added during the production process later to copies that are reduced to standard comic size.
If you are interested in purchasing either of these covers, or in getting a commission from Herb Trimpe, please visit http://www.comicbook-art.com or email info@comicbook-art.com
http://www.comicbook-art.com also represents Bob Budiansky who was the writer of many of the Marvel Transformers comics.
Thanks,
Jeff J.
So Seibertronians, here's a chance to own some exclusive art from the artists that first brought life to the Robots in Disguise in comic form. Go to ComicBook-Art.com and click on the individual artist's names to view their respective works an purchasing opportunities.
