A new 5 page preview of IDW Publishing's "Maximum Dinobots #2" has been released at tformers.com.

The preview also showcases both covers for Issue #2, and starts right where Issue #1 finished. Fans of Hot Rod be warned, there may be some distressing scenes for you in this preview, and fans of the more intelligent Grimlock may also be pleased.

Maximum Dinobots #2 is due for release this Wednesday, 7th January 2009, and is written by long time Transformers scribe Simon Furman, with Nick Roche on art duties.

That's pretty wicked awesome. I hope the Dynobots destroy Skorponok. He's making me angry! :D

And I wonder when/if ol' Shockwave will become a player again?

"Dynobots" isnt a typo. In the current universe they have not been named Dinobots. They were called Dynobots before getting Dinosaur altmodes.

In Transformers: Devastation Sunstreaker was captured and used to engineer Headmaster tech. His form has been used for Skorponok's army.

Curious, did anyone pick this up? I went to two comic shops, and neither had it in.

You're not alone. I don't like how Slag's triceretops head fins (insert correct anotomical term) look in the MaxDinos series.
