Site sponsor Kapow Toys dropped by with some images of the MasterMind Creations booth from this weekend's Roll Out Roll Call 3 convention!
First off we get a look at their upcoming KM-05 Air Screech (aka Hearts of Steel Starscream) in color. The actual figure isn't on display, but we see promotional banners of the figure in color and in alt mode. Additionally it is revealed that they will be repainting this mold into KM-06 Warper and KM-07 Stormer. You can have all three Seekers in Hearts of Steel style.
Next we have the KM-03 Cyclops prototype on display, this figure is scheduled to release in May. We see him towering over THS-02 Hybrid Style G1 Convoy.
Last but certainly not least they have revealed another figure in their Reformatted line, Prominion. The figure is intended to represent Nova Prime, and can be seen facing off against R-01 Terminus Hexatron in the renders below.

Dude, I don't know who he is fighting. Mastermind Creations is planning for one helluva a year though.
-Revised KM-01 Shattered Glass axe guy
-Cyclops
-3 seekers
-Hexatron
and I've heard rumors about another. These guys are going for broke.

It's a great line up - leading off with the HoS Shockwave. With Master Mind Creations showing their hand like this, I think they have managed a thorough game plan. I anticipate staggered releases, but with so much collector based pieces coming out, they need to take into consideration their consumer base's budget in terms of 3P consumer's buzz.
I look forward to TFCon '12 (late July). Should be a great show.
I've heard epic stories of drinking games that involve how quickly you can transform a scout class figure pulled from your pocket - quick draw style. I want in.

Thanks man! Got a little help on this from El Duque.
I'm going to end up with a shelf of overpriced Transformers from the Industrial Revolution.... AWESOME!!!!
Botcon may hold a drinking game involving Botshots and.... shots. Hope to see you all there!

Also, what's with the other swords? The ones Hexatron is using are new and the ones Prominion has in his right hand and sheathed on his back look to be the ones previously shown with Hexatron. What? Did they swap swords before squaring off?

Starfall79 wrote:Are you sure that is Prominion it honestly looks more like Drift! especially with all the swords and the head sculpt!
Prominion is the name they are using for Nova Prime. I think they nailed it:

I'm worried by the continuing absence of Hexatron. I hope there aren't any problems with him.
The Seekers are looking very good together. Easy money I suppose.

I'm getting impatient with the Hexitron release. It's probably the only transformer i really see myself buying this year and it's taking a looooong time comin. Heck...i've even seen the prototype on display at the Victoria toy show last summer and it looked ready to go to me.....minus paint apps of course.

I definitely want one of the seekers and Priminion. And I don't care who they "say" it's supposed to be, he's going to be my Prima. Pure and simple.

No problem. They are really cool, and fairly affordable. You know, I just went back and reread my post... WOW. That is why you should not eat pizza, play Skyrim and type.
ON TOPIC: I hope someone manages to get the HoS Insectitrain into production. I love these figures!

As do I. It seems KM-04 is oddly missing from their lineup... I wonder if they put it on hold with FP's insecticons so recently released?

Apparently they're working on the Insectrain, and have reserved KM-04 for them.

As for the figs themselves, they look good. I'm kind of glad they went the direction they did with Shockwave now with the size and price that led to me jumping ship on HOS because the three of these will probably just be too spendy. Seekers kinda lose their cool factor when the damn things cost ~$100 a piece.

And I agree that Prominion is meant to represent Prima. I mean come on, he has the freaking Star Saber!

Hexatron - most likely in the Fall. As for Prominion, I have no idea since we just saw him yesterday most likely he's still a year out.

You know, I'm not sold on who he is supposed to be, but THAT SWORD is unquestionable.

We get clear shot of their upcoming Hearts of Steel inspired Seekers KM-05 Air Screech, KM-06 Warper, and KM-07 Stormer. These renders gives us clears shots of all three in both modes, front and back. It appears each figure will get a unique set of weapons.
We also see the next figure in their new Reformatted line, Prominion, a tribute to Nova Prime. According to their facebook page we will learn more about this character in the comic that comes packed with R-01 Terminus Hexatron.
Check out the mirrored images below.
A young and naive warrior runs into a game that he could never afford to lose.
The mysterious opponent, Seraph, will gift him with the ancient swords, and change his destiny.
The story will be revealed in the comic of Terminus Hexatron.

EDIT: Upon further inspection, there are knobs that appear to be able to crank the propellers. If that's the case, then that is even cooler!

You know, after reading your comment, I went back to check it out. I believe you might be right.
And then, I noted something I missed before, unique weapons for each Seeker. now that's a nice touch.

1) Alt mode looks ridiculous. This is one of those TFs that have good bot mode, sucky alt mode.A good TF toy is a TF that have good bot mode and good alt mode.
2) Price is going to be ridiculous. Trust me on that one. I prefer buying Deluxes/Voyagers rather than having to sell my kidney to get one of these guys.
3) I dont support 3rd party stuff. Never bought one and never will.
Conclusion : Total pass.

At least consider picking up Prominion when he is released because as of now he seem to be the only way of getting Prima's Star Saber. The Star Saber is a MUST to anyone who has Nexus Prime. I'm planning on getting both him and Hexatron.

I'm trusting them to produce an expensive but amazing Cyclops (the prototype images of which already look amazing), and I'm also going to trust them on these HoS Seekers; Air Screetch primarily but perhaps all three (depending on cost and size). And the unique weapons for each Seeker... Superb
Truth be told though, I don't care much for either Terminus Hexatron or for Prominion...

Screech is my favorite as a HOS just because, but I have to say I like Warper the most out of context as some sort of Nightmare flyer. I hope he's voyager in scale. MC seems to like large scale.

MMC's site says the robot mode will be about 5" high... So not really Voyager height, more like Deluxe size or even Scout size.
