Peter Sciretta shares information related to HASBRO's ROTF movie toys and characters, supposedly presented at the Hasbro Licensing Summit in Malaysia this week. He posts this at a blog located here.

None of these are totally new, and could simply be this person re-hashing what rumors we already have.

"Since the crack crap reporting team at Entertainment Tonight wasn’t able to get any new details after spending a whole day on the set of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, I thought I’d pass along the news which was revealed at the Hasbro Licensing Summit in Malaysia this week.

The Chevy Corvette Centennial concept car (seen in the photo above) is actually the alt mode for Sideswipe. Described as a brave but often rash warrior, Sideswipe was part of the initial crew of Autobots. In the original animated series, Sideswipe and his twin brother Sunstreaker, took the form of Lamborghini sports cars. He later took the form of a 1997 Lamborghini Diablo, 1999 Dodge Viper, and the Cobra Stinger.

Ravage will appear in the film with “very raw beast mode”. Ravage was featured in both the original animated series and Beast Wars, and took the form of a robotic jaguar. He was featured in an original draft of Bay’s Tranformers, but later replaced with Scorponok.

Megatron’s alt mode is confirmed to be a tank. Looks like the leaked concept photos are legit.

And the Devastator rumors might also be confirmed with the news that a super-sized transformer that combines multiple toys will retail for $50+. In the original series, six constructicons combine to transform into the huge giant robot known as Devastator."

Repetition determines truth.
We've heard it so many times that it must be true.
Or the opposite. Not sure.

I'm not believing any rumors until I'm sitting in the theater watching ROTF with my very own eyes.
And even then I probably won't believe my eyes.

That said:
Devastator and Ravage sound solid, what with all the chatter we've heard.
Still on the fence about whether I believe the stuff about Megatron.

This talk of Sideswipe, though, really has me wondering.
More specifically, I'm wondering: "Why have Sideswipe without Sunstreaker?"

I'm hoping that Devastator is true.
I'm hoping that Megatron keeps the tank alt mode, but without the stick for an arm design for robot mode. (gah)

God damn it. Well they messed up Sideswipe so im guessing Ravage is going to suck and that means i have officially lost faith in this movie even before the trailers out. Thats a new record. But im sure itll have great CG and a shit load of pretty explosions so for a summer blockbuster itll work but for a TF continuity itll suck. Hey just like the first one.

I'm loving everything except Ravage. A robotic jaguar won't be accepted people who didn't see him in G1. But then again, he probably won't have a name, if i'm correct, Frenzy's name wasn't even ststed in the movie, or Skorponok's. I'm geussing Ravage will be a Frenzy that walks on all fours

I wonder if the sideswipe toy will be repainted red like G1 jazz and screamer.
