I really hope this thing gets a few tweaks between now and release. MP Skywarp was a good repaint. Thundercracker is looking pretty lazy right now.

They'll probably include stickers for the wing tips just like they did for MP Starscream & MP Skywarp, which will jazz it up

I hope so and I'm expecting that. I don't like them as much without the stripes and decepticon logos. I'm really looking forward to this one to join the others on my MP collection.

True, but Skywarp looked great with and without the stripes. He was so bad@$$ I broke down and bought two (wallet pain!) to display him both ways.

That's a sweet Transformer. Wonder what the price would be if it ever came to Norway. Paid $140 for my MP-5 Optimus Prime. And that's considered cheap.

I wonder what the alternate face would be. I wish this was a better image.

It would be cool if it was the face expression he has on that part on a DRSMOOV video where Megatron says to him "Thundercracker! Pull a rocket pack out of your S and give it to Optimus Prime!" :grin: .

he needs to be bluse with some red here and there. he's ThunderCracker, what the crap is with the purple????

the strange part is that thundercracker would be truely in disguise as an f-18 becouse of his paintjob

anyone heard of the blue angels? the most widely known air show pilots? painted navy and yellow?

I hope he does get a flat blue paint with the same detailing they did on SkyWarp, those white hilights make that jet!

As for the alternate face, I'm willing to bet it'll be the same as SkyWarp. It realy seems that he's being released as an after thought to round off the set, which also seems to be the reason most people(myself included) are getting him.

In all these threads, I've read alot of "I'm excited to complete the set" But not a single "Yeah, ThunderCracker..."

Maybe the figure itself has lost it's appeal having a high price point and a 4th release. I'm just happy they didn't stall with a SunStorm before showing ThunderCracker some MP love.

Isn't Sunstorm more of a US exclusive typ[e character anyways? Would Japanese fans (who TakaraTomy markets to primarily) even know about Sunstorm?

Those images are pretty bad, maybe even Pshopped. The ones from fantofan the other day from the Tokyo Toy Show were much better. They sold me on him. Of course, I have all the others so it was going to happen no matter what.

I always liked TC more than Skywarp, so I'm happy to see this release. Of course I want the full set eventually but I'll get TC first.

And I'm quite sure these pictures are photoshopped or an early proto.

I beive Sunstorm started off as an eHobby exclusive.

It's a picture of Skywarp, not Thundercracker. It's purplish because it's hard to Photoshop black into blue.

Yeah haven't most SunStorms been Japan exclusive figures? State side I think all we realy got where the Titanium and Legend versions. I'm sure there may have been more, but thats realy all that comes to mind.

I think there is a Universe Sunstorm made of the Armada Thrust mold.

Thats the one I couldn't think of.
