More Possible ROTF Figures Emerging

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen may not have much of a media blitz going on, but when any little bit of information on the upcoming sequel to the 2007 summer blockbuster gets out, we're on it.

Seibertron.com member TCJJ has just informed us of two auctions that are on the Chinese website Tao Bao that claim to be figures from the upcoming film. Possible spoilers ahead so be warned.

The first figure is a motorcycle prototype that goes by the name Knockout.

The second figure is a forklift that goes by the name Dirt Boss.

No other information seemed to be present regarding the two new figures. Pure speculation can contribute Dirt Boss to being a possible member of the Constructicon Team.

I have a friend who works in a warehouse and he drives a forklift around moving pallets of fertilizer. There's the name association.

The forklift looks awesome the bike guy looks cool except the head. Now i wonder is the forklift part of the constructicons or is it from the game? It looks a hell of a lot like the one from the first movie game. Either way ill be getting it. Well both since i never pass up a motorcycle TF.

Dirt Boss has a fantastic vehicle mode, but the robot mode is kinda meh.

The motorcycle looks like one Arcee bikes. So, were we misled on Arcee being a combiner bot, and this is really what the bike bots are?

Or are they just using all of the designs over and over?

I havent passed on a Motorcycle mold yet and this time isnt gona change that. I already like him. Is it just me or does the head remind anyone elce of BW Inferno?

Cool, I wanted a toy of those forklift guys. Though, even if there is some name association, the name stinks of Hasbro 'gotta keep trademarks up'.

Considering how long its taken them to learn how to make not lame motorcycle transformers at all, I'm not gonna hold an odd head against the rest of the design.

PS: .... It does sorta look like Inferno, doesn't it...

Yeah, maybe Arcee just leads, or is part of, a team of bike bots that don't combine.

"Dirt Boss", ie: the forklift, seems to be a toy of the Didn't-Get-A-Toy drone from the video game, Scrapper.

Note the greebles match up well: The chest circle and bands, and the molded "layered" look on the legs.

I like both of these figures. The first one looks deluxe to me. Too many details to be a scout. The second one "Dirt Boss" is a dead ringer for Scrapper from the TFM Game. If that's the case, we'll see mixmaster from the game too and hopefully Triple Changer Shockwave.

I really like that Dirt Boss. Just a couple more paint apps in the arms, he'll be set. The cycle, I'll have to wait to see it painted.

Isn't it kind of (kind of?) ridiculous to have hands when they're set behind a few feet of metal bar? they'd serve no purpose!

The only way to take the otherwise ok figure seriously is if the bars were removable, like tonfa held from underneath the hand.

Don't like the biker guy's chest too much. Good paint apps would save it maybe.

When are we going to start seeing toys of actual in-movie characters? Where's Jetfire? Arcee? The Constructicons?

I don't really care about the "filler" characters (though the forklift guy is pretty cool)...

Strange that they seem to be moving away from the total movie aesthetic... now they look like traditional figures with movie heads and hands grafted on...so weird. But these do appear to be smaller class figures, so they're probably replacing the Real Gears. Those guys seemed to be shelfwarmers, as cool as some of them were.

Man. I wish they had more of a break between movies.

We still haven't seen the last of the movie toys in stores and I'm just getting over being sick of seeing them everywhere. I wonder if this means Universe is just another filler line like classics? Or will it continue on while the Movie line returns? On that note, what of Animated? We keeps seeing all these awesome designs being made, I really hope they make it to the figure stage.

Movie Shockwave from the video game was a triple changer - he turned from an apache helicopter to artillery piece to robot.

Well, at least there will be a warehouse style Transformers, it's something of an interesting way to think outside the box. Maybe they should also have a staple gun that transforms, or a duct tape gun that transforms.
