We just received word from online retailer Toywizard that Takara's next Masterpiece and Encore releases will be Sunstorm and Sixshot! At this time no images of these new products have been made available, but we will keep you posted as soon as they become available.

Takaratomy Transformers Masterpiece MP-11S Sunstorm

We just received confirmed news from Takaratomy for the latest Transformers MP series, the Masterpiece MP-11S Sunstorm! As MP-11 Starscream is coming soon, we will definitely be getting this cool Sunstorm! There are no pictures released yet from Takara but we will include a Hasbro masterpiece sunstorm for your reference! Stay tuned for more information soon.

Toy Garden and Toywiz Malaysia will be taking preorder now for RM429 (USD$141.31) and MP11S is scheduled to be release end of May 2012.

Takaratomy Encore #23 G1 Reissue Sixshot

Just another surprising news from TakaraTomy, the latest addition to the Transformers Encore line will be Encore #23 Sixshot! As there are no pictures released yet, we still unconfirmed this will be the Figure King black version sixshot released a while back. Stay tuned for more information later.

Toy Garden and Toywiz Malaysia will be taking preorder for this item now for RM429 (SGD$178.42). Release date July 2012.

I like Sunstorm, but not enough to shell out MP prices for him.

Now a Classics Sunstorm would be more than welcome (and yes, I have the KO Sunstorm already).

Am I the only one befuddled that Sunstorm is getting an MP release before a true Classicsverse release? Of course, I currently use Titanium Sunstorm in that role and he's a vastly underrated figure.

Actually the only named rainmaker was Acid Storm, Sunstorm was a seeker I actually would have liked Acid Storm as a MP-11 repaint :WRECK:

Sunstorm is like so last year. CHMS and I-Gear took care of Sunstorm. And with Haxatron coming, who cares about Encore Sixshot ??? It's not like you cant get the original G1 toy on E-Bay...

Encore Sunstorm, huh? I never did get the masterpiece seeker mold. If Hasbro brings him to the U.S., I might be tempted to cave and grab one, especially if they throw in a unique accessory or two.

Well, its MP Sunstorm, not encore. Encore is the Sixshot figure.

I know the encore line is a huge blessing to people into the G1 era. But while they have a certain charm, I'm a Classic's kinda guy.

I think I'll still hold off for Mastermind's... oh frick! This might keep Hexatron off BBTS.
