"Bumble that deforms from Beetle"

teehee.

I really want this figure. I've been very lacking in the Masterpiece department.

Earlier we reported on Shogo Hasui's high resolution reveal of the upcoming Masterpiece Bumblebee, and now site sponsor TFSource has provided us with a full gallery of high res images of Bumblebee and his sidekick Spike. Of note, a better image showing off the face change gimmick.

As someone who sincerely dislikes Bumbledouche in all his various incarnations, I suppose I could still see my self begrudgingly picking this up... Heavily discounted. They need to release some more Decepticons! Give us an updated Megatron!
<EDIT>
And then figure out a way I can smuggle him through customs into Australia!

He looks amazing!

Pre-ordered from my usual place!

I assume this will be his height more or less:

Could the battlemask be the one DonFig designed to waaaaaaaay back in DW comics? The one that simulates the original visor + mouth guard for BB?

Anyway, late November to early December ETA so might be playing with him this coming January 2015.

Given this time window, the upcoming Ultra Magnus would probably be released on April or May 2015

What's their shipping to the US? I really don't feel like signing up for yet another site just to find out that their shipping prices are insane.

Try amiami or hobbysearch

glad I held out for this over some of the alternative options.

I'm one of the many who've felt the TF lines have been over-saturated with Bumblebees in recent years, but this little guy looks pretty great. I assume the face-change gimmick will be to put a G1 toy face on him, and that'll be nice but isn't all that necessary for me. Still, makes it easier for the Goldbug repaint.

Loving that we're getting Spike too! I'm a big fan of the Exo-suit design and it'll be real nice to get a proper version of it. Still wanting that GI Joe retool for EDC Spike though please Hasbro! :???: Hasbro?

Just don't go through WA customs and you have a better chance.

The Masterpiece Bumblebee news train just keeps on chuggin' along! We now have a picture explaining what both the face gimmick is, and what the Amazon exclusive faceplate is. Drumroll please? G1 toy accurate masked faceplate!

Bumblebee will see release in November and seeing all of these pictures just makes it more and more difficult to wait for his release!

Fellow Seibertronian Down_Shift has posted a picture, courtesy of Amazon.co.jp, of the add on piece in question and we've mirrored the image for you here, below.

Looks good. Hope the panels in alt mode won't be fidgety. I would like to see a scale. If he is too large, that could ruin everything.

They are pretty good into Canada.

Keep in mind that they do not include the coin or the Amazon exclusives.

eToys include the coin but no Amazon add on, and for about $4-$5 more.

RobotKingdom might be the best place for most. If you order more than one, perhaps to split shipping with a friend or in the hopes of selling one off in the future, then this is your best bet.

That faceplate thing isn't really a face, is it? Apart from that it looks good, although the exo-suit doesn't seem to have much in the way of functional knees.

November 19th release + inevitable delay = may be available in time for Christmas.

It's like they're making all of my wishes come true with this. Didn't I say something about a battle mask on the podcast? :D
