New Alternity & Henkei Pictures

I'm a little disappointed in Alternity Megs. It doesn't even look as if he has hands (they're stuck in roof halves). I just don't get a good vibe from this guy. Optimus looked awesome though...I was hoping Megatron would be on the same level. His "minicon" looks great though.

Also, Dinobot just looks weird. WAY too skinny!

I would prefer a Prowl as a fairlady rather than Megatron.

Dinobot is a big improvement on the old toy though I was expecting something a little better. JAam bot looks nice and show-accurate which is probably good if you want a show accurate Hot Shot. Walky's drooling as we speak.

I'm torn on the Alternitys. Between the movie, Animated, and Classics I'm getting sick of "re-imaginings" of the same dozen or so characters.

The TFCC pictures seem to have Dinobot transformed the wrong way in one way, this pictures have him transformed the wrong way in a different way.

At least Henkei has him in the right colors...

WolfDawg, thats not Alternity Megs. Thats the new Hot Shot for next year! The Alternity Megatron is the shadowy image.

Anyway, these toys are pretty cool. I like the Hot Shot, and the Dinobot is...ok. I was never much into Beast Wars and Beast Machines though, so, meh. Alternity Megatron is gonna be pretty good I think.

anyone seen pics of diney tformers? mickey looks SCRAP!! i've always been a fan of t-formers, even the bizarre stylings of tf animated but i think hasbro might be testing the faith of tformer fans a bit to much. grimlock looks good and dinobot looks cool. cant wait for hotshot though. does anyone know if altetrnity is going to be released in the uk without diecast? also isnyt the megatron pic just universe galvatrons shadow

the megatron shadow is to hard to tell anything. Hotroad with minicon in the middle pic looks ok. and dinobot looks wierd but i've never had any beast wars figures.

Hot shot looks awesome. Can't wait to pick up this one. Puts the original armada mold to shame.

Thanks JesWal...I was worried that was the Megatron mold. It's pretty early here...guess my brain isn't fully awake yet lol. As an Armada remake, Hotshot is pretty good (especially compared to the original). Can't wait to see Alternity Megatron, and here's hoping they do an Alternity Starscream!

If you click on the link, you'll see what may be the first image of MP Grimlock! Also, that shadowy image looks a lot like Galvatron. I can't read the writing though, so I'm probably wrong. Plus there seems to be an Optimus Prime truck that transforms into Mickey Mouse.

The writing says that he is Megatron. Also he apparently has rubber tyres and a die-cast frame.

if you look, megs has galvatron feet, his backpack and you can see the turret on his right arm. cant wait for hotshot though. apparently the used the origional design sketches for him ( type in armada hotshot in wikipedia for images of it)

There's practically nothing to see of Megatron yet. It's just a shadow. Probably just a drawing. Not even the shadow of the actual prototype toy.

The same way MP Grimlock was previously presented. Before the actual prototype came out here.

This line seems pretty cool,but for the money(prime and megs $49.99)and scale 1/32 they sure are expensive.I like the figures o.k. outside of dinobot,but I am having a hard time justifying to myself spending that kind of money on these figs......diecast and rubber tires or not. I am currently collecting so many other things I am not sure my wallet can handle this.Bring the price down a bit Tak-Tommy and you might get this customer.

Megatron: I don’t wish to judge it from an image like that, but it’ll probably be a pass.

Hotshot: looks good, but the kibble’s starting to scare me. That’s the second time he’s been shown like that.

Dinobot: WIN. After these images I can rest assured I’ll be getting some version of him.

While Hasbro has been disappointing me lately, I’m not sure if those are the final colors for Dinobot. If you look at one of the old magazines that previewed wave one, Tankor was shown with gray legs. So the colors may (or may not) be different on the final figure.

Wow! I like Hasbros version of Dinobot more but hey it looks awsome! I hope he comes with his sword. Hot Shot doesn't look to bad as well.

Well that's nice patience works, I waited for pix of Hotshot and Dinobot and now I have them. I like Dinobots mold but I don't like the colour hopefully hasbro's colour scheme was better. Hotshot looks great I'm definately getting him.

ok now they started to remold other than G1. that just sucks

title threw me off i thought it was hotrod but its hotshot good looking figure i can understand typos i amke them alot.

i see a hand on megatron but it looks like on megatron his door is on the inside of his forarm i like them both

Grimlock looks pretty cool. A fully Articulated G1 looking Mew Grimlock.


Definitely will have to save up for him.


Hot Shot looks pretty good. I hope the release his Powerlinx repaint in red and gold flames, if only to add to the ever growing Hot Rod/Rodimus Collection.

Not a big fan of Alternity, but I'll wait and see how good Megs looks.

Hotshot - I'm waiting to see how Yellow his yellow will be. Looks ok otherwise

Dinobot - Makes me wish I had seen a 10th anniversary one in stores. He just screams a dinobot, not the Dinobot he's supposed to be.

Not going to get Henkei Dinobot or Cheetor. It feels good to say I am actually skipping something.

I've been disappointed with the Henkei news over the past few days. I was hoping they were just gonna keep it a G1 line.

I have no desire to get Cheetor, Hot Shot or Dinobot

I believe that the Henkei line is just like Universe where they are celebrating all of the various TF lines. If I got Grimlock, I would have to save some space for it. As for the Megs, I would like to see a picture of the finalized product of it before I make a decision because $50-55 is a lot of money for a small figure.

Dinobot's beast mode is an improvement, but his robot mode doesn't really resemble his toy or cartoon incarnations. It doesn't even have the appropriate, iconic, weaponry, even though they obviously could have made his removable tail/cannon into an updated version of his tri-bladed sword and slasher shield thing.

:sigh: Classics Grimlock didn't have his sword either, but at least he could hold the original's Energo Sword well enough, and the weaponry he did come with was a nice homage to his Pretender incarnation.

Still waiting for a clear pic of alternity megs.

The Hotshot mold is growing on me, if the Henkei nails the colours I may get it.
