man... I dunno... I mean they look cool and all... but I'm having distinct difficulty looking at that creepy face and outreaching arms on Depthcharge and thinking "Autobot"
Ransack's pretty bitchin' and I love the idea of a biplane vehicle mode, loved it in HoS, and still diggin' it today.

I wonder if the double-barreled machine gun on Ransack is removable? Biplanes don't have guns mounted under their wings, IIRC.

I don't think they're removable it looks like they're attached via swivel joints to the arms.

Depthcharge is a bit too clunky in robot mode, but has a gorgeous alt. mode. I give them mad props for even attempting Ransack, let alone managing to pull off a nearly kibble-free biplane. The insect motif is decent, though it reminds me of Transmutate in some places more than an insecticon.

Wow...the detailing on these guys are AWESOME. Must buys for me...I really like the idea of a biplane Transformer...very unique and, as far as I know, a first ever for our beloved robots in disguise...

Is it just me or is Depthcharge going to be humongous in the movie? That will be cool. I always wondered how to make sense of a boat transforming into a walking robot. Does he swim to shore? Does he jump up an transform in the air before landing on the dock?

If I remember correctly, there were no characters that were not in the movie released until after the initial movie characters were in stores for a while. Is that a clue that these characters are in fact going to be in ROTF? It would make sense to capitalize on the popularity of the movie characters first before feeding the mania with new characters not actually in the movie.

Didn't the Scout class stuff come out at the same time as everything else? I'm pretty sure I saw Real Gear stuff in the shops before anything else.

Hmm. Depthcharge looks great except for the legs... too bad they hadn't put a hinge on that outer boat piece so it could fold down or something.
Ransack is probably going to be a pass for me. I love the idea of a biplane alt mode but the robot mode just doesn't cut it, same thing happened with the motorcycle guy in Cybertron.

My bad, you're right. I still can hope.
Bay did promise a lot more robots. I am hoping that there are a lot more characters aside fro. the Fallen, Arcee, Skids, Sideswipe, the Ice Cream truck, Jolt, and the Constructicons.. They only need to focus in on and develop a few new ones while the others can stay in the background and get killed or something.
