Last year Glu released Transformers video game for mobile phones based on the Transformers Movie. It looks like the company is at it again. Glu is releasing a new game, however this time it is based on G1 and is titled Transformers G1 Awakening. It will be a turn-based, and battles on will take place on both Earth and Cybertron. The game promises up to 23 playable characters. It will feature both a Story and Skirmish mode. For more information click here.

yay! great news! finally a G1 game! i hope this will be the spark for creating new transformer games on other video game consoles as well

That looks fairly interesting! In any case much better than the movie based one (I never managed to beat up Barricade - how can he be so tuff
