Tht has to be the nicest looking Hummer I've ever seen. I hope some TF does pick it as an alt mode but it probably is just a NEST vehicle. How come the cool cars are for the civvies this time?

I must be out of the loop, who is NEST? Also, even if it's not a Transformer you can bet Hasbro/TT will make a figure of it just like Landmine and Stockade.

Hmm, could it be an upgrade for Ratchet? I'd kinda like to see that. Merely an upgrade, so he'd still be recognizable, but different enough to warrant a new toy mold from Hasbro.

However, if it's not a Ratchet upgrade, I'd love to see it used for Swindle, or even Soundwave.

And if it isn't a TF, I'm sure Hasbro's going to make a figure for it anyway.

Looks pretty sweet IMHO. Hope its a hybrid or it will never hit the roads outside of just being a concept car.

Whatever it is, I'd love it to be a TF. I'd love it to be an Autobot too, because it would be such a stereotype for it to be a Decepticon.

NEST stands for Nuclear Emergency Support Team.

Nuclear Emergency Strike Team or equivalent thereof. Its a branch of the Armed Forces/Government that deals with nuclear accidents/terrorism. I'm not exactly sure if I got the acronym's meaning to the letter but thats roughly about it.

if it is a transformer it has to be a decepticon i see guns on that thing unless if m. bay is going to a differnt appraoch on this movie series and making some autobots with weapons on there vechial mode just like hound or ultra magnus from the new animated series.

but it would ba a perfect decepticon soundwave non the less

Its a cool vehicle , wouldnt want it for a Bot though since we already have Ratchet.

I like this Hummer to be someone. But having 2 Hummer Transformer in a film with too few Transformers and too few transformable cars is kinda like pushing it too far. It will make the film more like an extra long advertisement.

BTW I hope GM is still around for the next movie. Heard their stock is at an all time low of like $7/share, lowest its been since the 50's. Apparently they are currently filing for bankruptcy protection.

Their stocks are gonna look up after the movie. That is, if they still command the monopoly of vehicles for Autobots.

Wow, robots in disguise by using "concept cars". Cars that aren't even out on the market? Aren't they supposed to be blending in? Damn them making another 2 hour car commercial.

Since the movie is just fiction closely imitating reality, you can imagine it as happening in a world or in a time when these concepts are common everyday vehicles on the road.

Well... it could be that the movie's setting is a couple years from now... say like 2010. I say this because if Sam's in college, we don't know exactly what year in college. Wasn't he in like 11th grade in the first film? (I can't remember) So, my point is perhaps they're suggesting that these cars will be on the market at that time. :roll: :|

As far as the new movie being another "car commercial"...

perhaps we should be blaming the other car companies for jumping on board with TF1. I mean, from what I saw in an interview in an HBO special of the first movie, they said they opened up the movie's vehicles to all car companies... and GM was the one that stepped up to the plate, not the others.
