Don't think so. I think it was assembled by someone with a d***-tail fetish.

Hot Rod looks absolutely beautiful as usual... not sure about Triggerhappy's face. Paint looks a bit off there. Either way both are easy pick-ups

I have him as a Cybertron toy already, I will already have this mold as Chromedome, and most of all, he is a @#%#@% Q#% Q#%Q$% $^$W^&&% ##!% in the comics, so I hate him and his cybertron toy is worthy of his status

Getaway's Powermaster partner in G1 was called Rev... but what makes this name change notable is that Throttle was the name of one of the two Decepticon Powermasters; Darkwind. I'm tempted to say it's a bit like how 'Nightstick' was thrown onto pretty much every single Targetmaster a few years back just because they couldn't go around scrambling for copyrighted names for Targetmaster partners, but this one is especially notable considering Getaway's... recent morally dubious antics.

I'll likely be skipping chromedome for him, as he looks cooler, and has a more interesting personality, I love the anti-hero 's

Go for it mate; he's a pretty fun character once you get passed Hasbro's amazingly shoddy and ham-handed way of introducing him

Really though! I could never accept him as the new Autobot leader, either, but I swear it wasn't me who protested Prime's death by locking myself in a room for weeks.
But yeah, I've only recently started buying Transformers again, thanks to Combiner Wars (and my kids finally being old enough to "get it")....always liked the concept, even if I got sick of the retooling!

Triggerhappy......heavy retool of either Highbrow or Brainstorm
Breakaway.....obviously just a repaint of Chromedome(albeit probably with a new TM head! if it's not just the same one)
Twinferno......looks like a heavy retool of a Deluxe CW figure? hmmm...prob either Alpha Bravo or one of the other Arielbots or something
Hot Rod......again! looks like a heavy retool of a CW figure.....my guess.....someone like the Ironhide/Trailbreaker mold

I honestly can't tell if you're joking or not, but only Breakaway is derived from any previous mold. The others are completely new.

Good call on the names, Kurona, you'll soon end up like me and Sabrblade One thing though: it's TRADEMARK
Sorry, it's a pet peeve of mine when people use "copyright" for "trademark"...
"Daburu" is a creative way of circumventing trademark problems, as "Double" may be considered too generic of a moniker and thus undesirable as a trademark. We have too many "Double-"s as it is:
Doubledealer
Doubleheader
Doublecross
Doubleclouder
Double Clutch
Double Punch
Double Face
And wouldn't you know it, ThrottleRev is yet another retool of poor Stylor, counting Japanese releases it'll be nr. 5!

Nah...c'mon! are you trying to tell me that Triggerhappy doesn't look like he's been retooled from Highbrow? or even Brainstorm?
with Twinferno.....you can tell by the molding of the torso it certainly looks like it's been retooled from someone like Alpha Bravo
with Hot Rod it's around the arms & legs....deffo looks to me like the retooled arms & legs from the CW Ironhide/Trailbreaker mold.

If you're trying to make it obvious it's a joke I'm afraid you just confused me more. Tone's just a bit hard to communicate over the internet without a really obvious wink or something.
But no, I can't see a single similarity between them and what you're saying they're retooled from.

Seriously, go back and look at the toys you're comparing them to. They hold nothing in common aside from... I guess a few shapes in places, alt-modes and a bipedal body structure? At which point we might as well say CW Hook is a retool of Cybertron Mudflap.

There are some superficial resemblances between Triggerhappy and Highbrow and Brainstorm, but they end there.

Twinferno is clearly an entirely original mold. None of the aerialbots transform like that.

Hot Rod doesn't resemble the Offroad/Ironhide/Trailbreaker mold at all, I don't know what you're seeing.

The titan's return figures seem, so far to have very few tells as to the whether or not their retools of each other. So far going off of the few TR figures out, the most sure fire way of seeing what's a retool and what's not is by looking what hasn't been retooled. Chromedome, Blurr, Brainstorm, and Getaway are all retools/pretools of each other, the few notable similar parts are the central chest assembly, the gun, and the Headmaster. Highbrow and scourge share the same waist assembly and headmaster man that's about it. I think there's a certain point where the pretool is it's own figure; Blurr and chromedome, Scourge and Highbrow being the best example of how separate the pretools are.

The Blurr and Chromedome molds are completely separate. They only share certain parts and weapons - as you stated. That's not retooling, that's parts-sharing; a rather new phenomenon that is very far removed from the very nature and concept of retooling.
Scourge and Highbrow, arguably, are simply shared engineering rather than a retool.

Too be fair those parts are exactly the same, it not like an energon Starscream G2 smokescreen situation.

They are the same parts, of course; but again, they're not retools. It's parts-sharing, which also again is a rather new thing for Transformers. We've had a lot of discussions about it on this thread but the bottom line is that they can't be classified as retools just because they have certain parts, weapons and Titan Masters in common.

oh & btw...i love that superficial resemblances word i guess it takes the sting out of using a word like retool.
mind you...there seems to be a few superficial resemblances used of late
Blurr/Brainstorm
Sentinel/Astrotrain
Blaster/Soundwave
Crashbash/Clobber
Terri-Bull/Skytread
Chromedome/Breakaway
& no doubt the one's upcoming
Broadside/Tidal Wave
Sixshot/Quickswitch
Op Prime/Octane
Megatron/Blitzwing

Triggerhappy looks decent.
Breakaway not sure.
Hot Rod... hmmm I need to see the Takara version first. Liking the car mode. The segment cut out of the stomach area in robot mode really bugs me though. The engine block looks really dull and undetailed and the grey 'ears' seem very unusual for him. The way they fit him into that packaging does him no favours though cos his spoilerwings are one of his usual features and in the package it's all draped down like a cape.

【DABURU ダブる】
You can probably tell from its sound, but this katakana word is taken from the English word “double.” It differs in that in Japanese, it’s used only as a verb, but its meaning is also derived from the English word. In Japanese, it has the meaning of “to compound” or “to duplicate” and has a negative tone.
Kind of like when you say someone has double billed you for a single item.

Regardless, he's the very first full-bodied Headmaster that demands my attention. Here's hoping those apparent seams right below the shoulder pads means the dragon heads can rotate around.

Triggerhappy's looking rather nice, too. Dunno if I quite *need* him, but I'll keep my eye on him, certainly.
His alt really makes me think of FoC Starscream...

Oh wow, didn't notice that! If he can do that and fold his arms up against his shoulders like Demolishor, he'll be a definite purchase for me.
