Higekuma Toy Toy Blog's author - アルフェス2010 has obtained EZ Rampage - Desert Combat Version, and has taken a pictures of the little figure. Toys 'R' US Japan is giving this figure away for free with purchases of over 3000 Yen. It's a repaint of EZ Rampage, in red instead of yellow. Check out some of the pictures below, while the rest can be seen here.

The advantage to these guys is they have both individual robot modes and combine to form Devastator. As far as detail, thats another story. They actually could have made millions by licensing McDonalds to sell these little guys as Happy Meal toys...

Good to see that Rampage got a repaint like the onscreen footage. I'm not sure if ILM did the changing of yellow to red (awsome job), but two yellow robots fighting is a mashing of gears, wires and hydraulic limbs. still think that a light green would have shown better onscreen.
