Megatron looks cool, but odd. He's got one skinny arm and one big, fat one. But it looks like his big one might transform into a gun.

Why does Ravage look like a cat version of Scorponok?

Oh, come the smeg on. They had to give an insectoid head to the mechanical cat, didn't they?

You know that they will get some kinda cute nickname from the fanboys... like insecto-kitty and Megelephatron or something.

Either way, they are looking br00tal at the least. I just keep picturing how good they'll look on the silver screen.

Well well well. These guys look great! I already love megs more than in the first movie. Hoooray!!!

looking at Ravage makes it look like he'll make this movie rated R for blood and gore.

Is it just me or does Ravage look like an evil spiky version of the robot from Red Planet

also ive got a funny feeling that megatron will be making a bigger return than we expected he's got to e.g he's on the boxes for the toys and we saw artwork done by josh nizzi and now this.
and ive got a feeling that ravage could turn into a gun because of what was said about 'transforming weapons'

Megatron looks a little better than expected, but that left arm looks really stupid. I might be able to get past it once I see it in action. As it stands, it's not enough to stop me from enjoying the movie, but I'll probably sit there mocking him throughout the whole thing.

The toy...might be a pass.

Ravage looks ridiculous. Aside from the bug face, the tail is weird, and the overall look is just.. I don't know. I'm not quite sure what to call it, really.

It's not impressive, I'll say that for it.

It says that Optimus, Bumblebee, Ironhide, and Starscream remain unchanged for the most part, but nowhere does anyone mention Ratchet.

Here's the thing, we know he's in the film. We've seen the Hummer being transported along with Prime and Ironhide on flatbeds.

So what's the deal? Either he's not getting any changes done to him (which would mean there's no reason to report on him.) or he's not in the film much (which would also mean there's no reason to report on him) or...he gets offed in this one and doesn't receive much screen time due to that, or they're keeping it under wraps. (I'm betting that's the main reason we haven't heard much about him.)

Either way, from what I've read/seen I see nothing that stands out from the first one. Which could be good, or bad.

Good: The first film was enjoyable. Flawed heavily, but enjoyable.
Bad: It might not be as good as the first one (I.E. second verse, same as the first; a little bit longer and a little bit worse.) or be no different from the first one. (in which case, I've already seen it, no need to show the same story and CGI with a few new added characters.)

I'm hoping I'm wrong and this will be awesome that will reach out of the screen and kick the audience's collective ass. (Want.)

awesome.. that Ravage is so very metal.. (rock on and all that).. kinda reminds me of one of the failed prototype Evangelion's from Neon Genesis Evangelion.. i cant find a picture of it.. but if anyones watched it theyll know what i mean..

Megatrons looking pretty cool to.. i kinda like the one arm being bigger than the other.. though i foresee balance issues with the figure if its close to this artwork..

I noticed that the arm that is smaller on Megs is actually the same one that is blown off in the first movie...that could explain why it is smaller. All in all...I like both. Very cool...

Ravage looks crazy as hell, like some robot blender from hell, Megatron on the other hand looks cool, it appears that he's sporting his gun arm, and if you look closely to his feet, you can see the tank treads.

I'm digging Megatrons re-design. He's a step closer to his G1 form, now.

I love Ravage too, although the one eye is a bit off-putting. I'm curious now to see what his alt mode will be.....

What did they do to poor Ravage?

Looks like crap. Megatron looks a lot better than what he was but is still crap and Ravage (if you can even call it that) looks like a reject from the Alien franchise. Well i think im officially done with Bays version of Transformers. Hes destroyed to many of my favorite characters. If he decides to ruin HotRod next (and im sure he will) im not going to even bother checking out the movie when its on HBO.

my opinions:

Ravage- ill be checking under my bed and avoiding dark corners from now on thank you.

Megatron- i feel bad for anyone who gets in his way cause he's a packin a BFG.

im just guessing but i think ravage really think he does have two eyes, that glowing thing in the middle could be his nose or his eye either way he looks good

megatron i like one reason because his arm got seperated from his body and the second the cannon of the tank mode is on his arm so that could be why one is bigger than the other even if it is strange looking

Part of Scorponok could be thrown in there, too (look at the tail, color, and limb joints). Remember, Scorponok got away in the first movie.

more i look at his tail more looks like his tail does simalr thing as scorponoc did in the first movie he looks better than scorponoc more menacing looking i woudnt want him to trasnfomr into a weapon but if he does i think i can live with it

It's interesting how the characters are slowly transforming into their G1 counterparts.

It would be great if Optimus dropped the flames and became a flat nosed truck ! I'd buy the toy inmediately.

Bumblebee's already developing his "ears" on his toy mode, and Megatron is developing a cannon arm. Ironhide will have a crest and turn red, Soundwave will spit out some kind of cassette, and we will be back at 1984, as it always should have been

*cough* Let me rephrase that, calmly. If that's Ravage's real design for the movie, it looks freaking amazing and deadly! Fits perfectly in with the rest of the bot designs. However, part of me says "that's not a Transformer!" but I'm trying to ignore that because I love creepy, deadly critter designs like that in general

Sick. I like the look of them, even if they are a little on the different side.

The big crab claw on Megatron looks kind of cool, but I'm not digging the cyclops look on Ravage.

Also, it's nice to finally have some stuff on ROTF, news has been way too slow lately - and I'm still waiting for official sources to even acknowledge the fact that this movie is actually being made.

Ravage looks dangerous and sharp. I really like it's design.

Megs is cool too. But the tiny arm is kinda dumb.

Good to see some "official" pictures . . . but these designs looks just like the leaked designs from months past. Ravage appeared with Soundwave (which leads me to think the truck design for Soundwave was credible) and there were about seven images of Megatron in both bot and alt mode.

Cool to see more pictures, but the images should not suprise anyone.

Ravage may or may not have actual eyes. I can't tell because of the fuzz on the picture. However, he does have ears and sharp razor blade like whiskers. Cat enough for me.

Yuck. This next year will be a vintage-catching up year for me. I still need plenty of Masters and a few other things to get. I hope the movie franchise doesn't tank after coming out strong the way the comics have. With all due respect to those who like these, I find the movie designs laughable. Of course, like the first movie I'll give it a chance before passing final judgement but for now all I have to say is, "Ewwwww."

It says The source mentions that others such as prime, bumblebee, ironhide and starscream remain essentially the same.. How disapointing is that news? I mean from a toy standpoint especially Starscream.. How could Hasbro not understand that a Starscream with actual hands this time would be a major toy seller.. I mean if theres one TF from the first movie to do a better job on this time its starscream hands down.. No pun intended lol

The characters are the same. Doesn't mean were not gonna get a few new molds of each.

Well, I can definetly say Megatron just looks simply badass. Ravage definetly looks like a cat now with a very destructive tail ^_^ This movie is coming along very nicely

Ehhh... Give me Transformers Animated over this stuff any day. I mean, I appreciate the fact that Michael Bay has made a live-action Transformers movie, but where in his contract does it say all the Decepticons have to look like spiky bugs (or handless apes, in Starscream's case)? Oh, well... I know I'll go see it when it comes out, but Megatron from Transformers Animated is still a lot more interesting (both visually and as a character) than the movie iteration.

nice ravage looks real nasty in a good way and megatron looks pretty sweet too.

I like Ravage. He looks like a cross between the "Tripredacus Agent" TM2 Cheetor repaint, and a xenomorph. And Megatron's an improvement over his incarnation in the first movie. IMHO a tank is the most fitting alt mode choice for Megatron.
