New Images Of TFA Swindle And 25th Cheetor

Entertainment Earth has new images of Universe deluxe Wave 4, and Animated deluxe wave 5 on the pre-order pages on their website.

Of note with these sets, Animated Swindle looks a little differently colored than we had previously seen before, with the bright yellow replaced with the duller tan/yellow, and the 25th Cheetor with the 25th/Universe set looks to be transformed correctly.

Swindle looks really nice. He reminds me a lot of his G1 namesake.

As of right now,
Swindle, Swoop, and Leader U.M. are the only Animated figures I'm looking to add to my collection of that line.
And I may even go with the Road Buster version of Magnus since I'm getting the City Commander set.

Depending on what we get for Classics in '09, I may go back and pick up a few others, but not planning on it.

You might not want to overlook Voyager Prime. If you like Primes he's a really great mold. Pics don't really do it justice like when you're holding it. He's great, big and solid.

Swindle looks just as good as the stock photos depicted. A bit more Olive, as the TC said, but still awesome. Definitely getting him. However, Blurr looks better than he did in the stock photos. Guess I'll have to see him up close.

I was thinking the same thing. Shouldn't it be Elite Guard BB, or some other variation? Given how many BBs I see warming the shelves everywhere, I don't know why they think there's enough demand for that mold to reissue it in Wave 5. Unless they just want to make sure it's on shelves for the holidays.

And, yes, Swindle = win.

Swindle and Blurr are a nice way to get the bad taste of the Jetfire/Jetstorm Retard Twins out of my mouth.

Nice, I really dig Lockdown and Swindle!

On a side note, the Cyclonus we saw earlier were people said it was just a unfinished test shot, well it looks like it really is the finished product!

i prefer swindle in this darker colour, goes better with the mold i'll say.

blur...still not sure on him

and still a big NO on that cheetor, even with his arms in right hes still beaten by the beast wars version.

Cheetor: pass.
Hound: I will get the Henkei version more accurate paintjob and hopefully also a handgun and weapons for Ravage.
Cyclonus: AWESOME!
Starscream: Boring paintjob looks horrible.
Bumblebee: Have him pass on this one.
Blurr: Looks freaking awesome i'm getting him for sure.
Swindle: Kickass vehicle mode, should have been a Voyager though. Head is a bit too blocky.
Lockdown: Have the first don't need another.

Not to be a party pooper byt cyclonus just isn't doing it for me. His jet mode is too bulbus and bulky not like the sleek jet we're used to seeing him as.

Oh well, I guess that's the trade off for trying to fix the old problems with his robot mode, even thouse his legs are still too thin.

On the other hand, I'm really diggin' the more three dimensional Ravage. I may grab Hound just for him.

Hound, Cheetor and Cyclonus... definatley.. i liked Cheetor as soon as i saw him.. admittedly after id mentally transformed him correctly.. this is pretty much how i imagined him :)

Hound and Cyclonus i think are made of epic win.. im half tempted to hang on for their respective henkei versions.. but we'll see :)

-sigh- its going to be an expensive year indeed...

As much as the Ambiguously Gay Jet Duo disappointed me yesterday, these two waves of deluxes make up for that tragedy in spades.

I think the Hound/Cheetor/Cyclonus/Cartoon Starscream Universe wave has to be the best wave of Deluxes to ever come out, ever. Will buy all of them instantly when I see them. :drool:

Holy crap! Swindle, Blurr, Starscream, Cyclonus, and Hound look fickin' sweet! I can't wait for Christmas now. But what's with Bumblebee keep being shown with the Wave 5 Animated guys? Is it cause Hasbro fixed the stinger thing cause by those picutes, they didn't. Or is is it cause they think Bumblbee is so popular, but the thing is, he's not.

I like all of these, even Cheetor, and I'm not into beast alt forms. Of course, I plan to call him Steeljaw, so that he fits in with my "Neo G1" (modern G1 homages from TF: Cybertron to present) collection.

And I love Swindle even more in darker colors. With that roof-mounted one-barrel cannon, he really reminds me of G1 Outback, too. I may have to pick up a second one and see if I can't give him an Outback-like head. :grin: Swindle is like a double homage. :APPLAUSE:

I like this wave very much except 4 BB but my question is of all the Hound pix i seen of him......did anybody else notices that he look like he standin like a ballet dancer and always on his toes???

Upon further inspection, I see that Swindle's "Tum tum gun", as I will from now on be calling it, can push back into his tum tum to be concealed. Maybe a button pops it out...I hope one of those "early birds" reviews him soon. Maybe Peaugh will have his up in a few weeks or so.
