New images of Universe 25th Cyclonus, Starscream and Hound

Very cool. Can't wait to see Cyclonus with the correct paint job again. I'm really digging Hound too. Did we really need another Screamer though?!

I will get all 3 but what's with Cyclonus uneven wings and why can't they afford blue paint on Starscreams nosecone?

Starscream didn't have a blue nose in the cartoon, which is clearly the look they're going for here.

His wings are even. The arm with the gun is tilted more than the other one.

Cyclonus is a much better toy than the G1 version and about 1/10 the cost.

Anybody else noticing the two colors of green on Hound? There's the original bright green, and a more olive drab color that I think we'd all prefer.

i agree with Nekoman, these do look like test shots... anyone else noticed the markings etched into the back of cyclonus' wing and hounds hood?..

as it was mentioned further up from here the final product may well vary, that and what the hasbro rep had said in that other thread about cyclonus' paint job... lets hope so..

these three look awesome, i cant believe they've finally made a decent hound figure again. really looking forward to these three

Good molds but I'll be holding out for the Henkei versions of Cyclonus and Hound.
Hopefully they'll fix the different Hound shading colors by then.

What these pictues do convince me, is that Henkei Starscream is still the best version out there. I was toying with the idea of picking up the Hasbro version but they've missed out too much paint and imop it looks very plain when compared to the Japanese version.

cyclonus is so mine! starscream too! I dont really like hound though.

Cant wait for these guys. Hasbro redeemed them selves with this line.

New I'd end up loving Cyclonus...though I've gotta admit the fact that he's a targetmaster is what first sold me on him. These pics are just locking in a purchase I'd have probably made anyway.

Starscream, however...Pass only because it's a variant deco of Classics Screamer, which I already have. Also been able to pick up
Acid Storm this month... Only way I need another of this mold is if Hasbro or Tomy would actually come out with a Thrust repaint (and since Thrust was a Botcon exclusive, I don't see that happening). Would also get the other Rainmakers if they're ever done...

As for Hound...I think I might get him. It's a good mold, and I honestly like this Ravage better than G1. (And the fact that his cassette mode apparently fits into Soundwave helps.)

All three are fabulous-looking, and I will no doubt end up owning them all! Cyclonus is an absolute MUST though, since he is the best looking one of them all! I am just curious of the colors....the lighting in the pics is a bit off, so I can't tell if those wings are white or grey...either one is a bit.....off. All the same, he's fantastic-looking regardless and will grace my Universe/Classics shelf nicely!

Cyclonus and Hound rock i'm getting those. I could care less about Screamer, i have the original and while i like a more accurate paintjob, this is not it. It is way too bland and is lacking a lot of paint apps.

And has been said, these are most likely test shots, not final figures. Until we get the official final shots, or even see them in the store, I wouldn't count them out just yet.

From the picture quality I'd agree.

I knew I was gonna get Cyclonus back when he was announced just because I loved the headmaster/targemaster gimmick back when it first came out around 87. Even if these paint apps aren't final, I expect I'm gonna be very happy with this purchase whenever I'm able to make it.

Screamer's a good mold though; worth getting if you didn't get him to begin with. I just don't need another one, which is why I'd pass.

I want all 3! especially Starscream and Cyclonus, those 2 i never got as a kid and now i can finally get them! And when do all 3 hit the shelves? Is it November?

So are we still thinking that we wont be able to mount the missle on Hound's shoulder, he has to hold it in his hand? Weak, that was a signture weapon.

Hasbro mentioned that Cyclonus will be released in his full purple scheme. The grey icky colors were from a first shot of the figure. However all the subsequent pictures we have been seeing of him also have been the icky grey. Is he really going to be full purple?
