Toys R’ Us Japan has some more images of the upcoming Masterpiece Thundercracker release highlighting some of the features of the toy.

Thundercracker is a repaint of the Masterpiece Starscream mold, and is the fourth coloring of the mold that we have had. The mold has been painted as the original, realistic Starscream in darker, muted colors, the Anime colored Starscream, Skywarp, and now in Thundercracker deco.

You can still pre-order MP Thundercracker at many online stores including BigBadToyStore.

Check out the mirrored images below (when we get news control back), one of which shows the new facial expression for Thundercracker!

Thundercracker's face makes me feel uneasy. :(

I like the color. I don't mind the face. It fits with Skywarp's face. I just wish they gave us something other than another Dr. Archville.

I like the color too, and the face is well interesting, and at least sets it apart from the predecessors.

I wish they did him in an open-mouth shout instead of him gritting his teeth. Oh well, I'm still getting him.

I wish they'd given Skywarp and Thundercracker more normal alternate faces. They both look like they're trying to take a huge dump but it just won't come out and they're in extreme pain.

Thanks
Is that a homage to one of the old epps or is that a real part of the plain?

Yeah, it's a real plane thing. But does anyone really give a shit? I guess it gives him a little more of a model plane feel, but are you gonna display him like that?

frankly, MP-wise, I'm getting a little tired of all these headlines and news blurbs about Thundercracker. Not that I dislike TC or anything, but, come on, he's a blue repaint of MP Screamer with a different alternate face mold; what more could we need/want to know about it that we can't already figure out for ourselves? What would interest me in MP news is progress on that MP Grimlock we were promised, being that he's actually a new figure altogether, and not just a repaint with slight retooling of another figure (and, I'll admit, I a little bit biased, what with Grimlock being my fav TF ever).

Anyway, all I'm asking for is some MP news that's actually [i]new[i].

my two cents,
Grimmy

Oh OK thanks, I didn't know real planes could do that.

Well, folks DID ask for different face-molds on MP SS repaints! And, this one gives us one....albeit fugly!

Ah well, despite that "I need to crap, but can't!" face, I'll be getting this eventually anyways...I will have The Big Three Seekers in MP form! It's just necessary.
