Site sponsor Robotkingdom have updated their facebook page with new in-package images of their new Takara United arrivals: UN-28 Axalon, UN-29 Ark Unicron, UN-30 Optimus Primal, & UN-31 Beast Megatron. Interestingly, while all four are Deluxe class figures only Axalon comes carded with the other three boxed. All bear the "Limited Quantity" sticker that appeared on the previous United wave. These figures are scheduled to start shipping on the 25th. Check them out below!

Easy pass. Although Megatron might look good nent to Cindasaur and the original to make G2 Firecons.

I don't get it. Why is Axalon on a card, while the other 3 are in boxes, but they're all deluxes?

My theory is that with either their shape (BW Megs) or their accessories (BW Primal), they could not fit into TT's deluxe-sized packaging, and so they had to upgrade one size category.
I can't wait for Axalon, the others are passes to me.

Axalon is interesting, wish he had a maximal symbol, not an autobot symbol, though I doubt I'll get him because his price will be too high for what he is.

Im not surprised anymore to see an increased in price of Takara's product, they find collectors around the world are even ready to bite the expensive 3rd party product.

The Japanese versions are always expensive. Factoring the extra shipping(especially if you live in the continental United States.

Still can't figure the logic behind Unicron as the Ark, but I admit that action shot on the back of the box makes Optimus Primal a damn sight more appealing.

They were and did fit in the card BUT if you compare a deluxe of AEC to a deluxe of today you will notice that they are more bulky in size. The United packaging was made with the modern figs in mind.

Well, that explains the price increase seen when the pre-orders went up. Primal and Beast Megatron are the only interesting ones, but if I can see the originals for cheaper I'd be all over it.

Interesting, Unicron looks more metallic than the original Hasbro version, which makes him look a lot more similar to Amazon Unicron. I would be very interested in purchasing this if it didn't cost $50. As it is, I'll wait and see if it goes on clearance.

Axalon was the only temptation for me here and I have the deco I wanted for the mold in the Botcon usages of it. I simply do not like the mold enough to pay a premium for a bland deco such as this. Primal and Megatron look primarily the same as the Hasbro versions which I'm pleased enough with. Not gonna double dip. Unicron leaves me cold.
