Fellow Seibertronian ghost_of_bunji has just informed us that he discovered new Transformers Animated figures in Wal-Mart's computer system last night. There might be hope that we'll be getting some of the new figures just yet! Keep your fingers crossed my friends!
Found these last night by accident at work while I was scanning to see if any figs were on order.
Deluxe:
TRA ANIMATED DX RODIMU 65356941980
TRA ARCEE SLEEK CAR 65356937933
TRA ELECTROSTATIC S 65356937934
Voyager:
TRA ANMTD BUMBLEBEE 65356939375
TRA VOYAGER BLACKOU 65356940324
TRA VOYAGER JETPACK 65356940325
There was also a Ratchet and Grimlock listed near those in their respective class lists, but I didn't get a pic since I had no way of knowing if it was the original or the repaint.

I don't think "by accident" is how I would word that. "By chance" would be more appropriate.
Nice find. Let the hunt begin!

Score! I assume this means that the Animated line will continue throughout the movie, right? They wouldn't list these if the line was on hiatus until fall/winter.... ??
Anyway, nice to see Rodimus and Arcee on the horizon, as well as Blackout! Now, how about some leaked images!!!

I bet "Jetpack" is that rumored flying version of OP. He probably gets some sort of jetpack attachment. Remember in "Transwarped" when OP said (paraphrasing:) "I really need to learn how to fly one of these days."
Anyway, Arcee is a must-buy for my, and Blackout is also a must-buy if he looks even half as cool as I expect based on the design.

only one I must have out of the group is the electro static soundwave. He looks good in the soundblaster paint app with the ratbat keytar. But I still want animated constructicons dangit(except that dirtboss, he looks kinda skeery).

Well, Arcee and Rodimus are must-buys. I am conflicted on Soundwave though. Do I really want to spend the money on a straight-repaint in order to get Ratbat?

OH YEAH! If this is true it will make my day/month/whatever, I really want an animated Rodimus fig.
Then they just need Springer & Kup and the main movie cast is complete... unless they want another Wheelie, but the Universe one is good enough.

Does Walmart ever get exclusive figures? I know they get exclusive repaints sometimes, like the "Movie" repaints of Cybertron deluxe figures, but I doubt that Walmart would get its own unique new Animated figure.

Supports my hypothesis that Goldfire Grimmy and Hydrodive BB were not cancelled, but the wave of just them has been canceled, and replaced with the wave of HBB, GG, Jetpack Prime, and Blackout.

Think there was a version of Beast Machines Megatron that was KB-exclusive, But that's the only time I know of that a non-Botcon exclusive was anything other than a direct repaint. 3 of the only 4 Transformers I've ever truly kept MISB are exclusive repaints. Actually their all repaints, as the 4th is U2.0 Starscream, but the other 3 are Movie Barricade (from Target) and U1.0 Snow Cat and Downshift (which ended up being the final KB-exclusive figures, or at least the last ones I knew about). It'd be nice if they did something more unique that repaints for exclusives, but I don't see it happening.
There were images back at ToyFair this year, but I know at least some of the stuff in the gallery I linked to are out.

I'd like to think Arcee was a guarantee; I think she and the repaint of Soundwave are the only figures announced at ToyFair that haven't been released yet. But then, I've never seen Universe Legends wave 5 on pegs either, and I feel like the legends aught to be out by now. Between that and the fact that we're 10 days out from ROTF's official street date as I type this, I'm a bit worried.

That would be cool. A deluxe class BB cybertron mode. That would open the repaint floodgates as well. My question is this though: "Why doesn't Hasbro have any of these toys on their website?" (Not that it means anything though because I bought Safeguard at Walmart before it was offered on the official Hasbro site.)

Therefore, it was what I took it to mean. As you just quoted me as saying. Sabrblade had wrongly assumed I took it to mean something else. Maybe he thought I meant Cybertron the series, not Cybertron the homeworld. Or maybe he thought I meant BB's Cybertronian alt mode in Animated, which would still be wrong, because I haven't seen enough of Animated to know what his Cybertronian alt mode was (or even if it's been shown).
