We have an update on a list we previously published of listings which did not have images or descriptions.
These Action Attackers turned out to be the entire Cyberverse line, with the numbers being the confirmed price points. You can find out more about that particular line, here.
The previous listings also had Project Storm which we now know to be the codename for the Authentics line:

With that said, we have new Action Attacker listings below. These are different than the previous ones and are probably for the Bumblebee Live Action film. Which means that, as with the Cyberverse line, the Bumblebee Movie line will be full of action gimicks.

So there is a chance for new Hot Rod merchandise which also means a chance he is in the Bumblebee movie.
Makes sense he is the one other Autobot that makes sense to be in the movie besides a new character considering the two were on Earth working together during World War 2 they had to have separated at some point so maybe the movie could show that.

UK toy distributor ABGee had already proved itself useful as a news source for upcoming Transformers toys for the Bumblebee spin-off movie due in cinemas this December (initially in June), and it looks like they may be useful again! Though not much is actually new here, we get a tidbit about the voice change masks, as they appear to have a number of characters listed and not just Bumblebee (much like for Transformers: The Last Knight's case) - and we have UK pricing in pounds for each of the items listed below! BotCon no longer exists and there wont be a Hascon until 2019. Figures will probably be teased over the coming months and then fully revealed at SDCC.

Nobody living on Earth right now is surprised there's a new Bumblebee mask coming for this movie, we're talking about the annoying trend of the masks being the first official thing shown.

Previous listings for the Bumblebee Movie toyline included toys labeled as Energon Igniters. We had no images, no description and no indication as to which characters would even be in the toyline. Was it just going to be a ton of Bumblebee toys on the shelves? Well, now we know better. Listings for these Energon Igniter toys have been found on Amazon India and we finally get an idea as to what the gimmick is. But better yet, we know that that toyline won't just be made up of Bumblebee.
Of course, Bumblebee will be there, but the listings also include Barricade, Hot Rod and none other than Megatron. What is super cool is that the listing states that this Megatron toy turns into a tank. This does not mean that there will be a tank Megatron in the Bumblebee movie but at least it lets us know that there will be a tank Megatron on the shelves, in this subline.
Regarding this subline, the revealed gimmick is very similar to the All Spark gimmick from Transformers: The Last Knight since the descriptions state that a device which does not come included with the toy must be plugged in. The listings also state the amount of steps involved with each toy. And lastly, we see that some characters are for different lines within this Energon Igniter Subline. For instance, Megatron is part of the Power Series while Barricade is part of the Speed series.

I still hold on to my belief that Hot Rod is the most likely other Autobot to be in the Bee film besides a cameo from Prime.
The toy listings show that he is at least a character in mind with the toyline.
Course some of these could be toyline filler like how it used to be back in the first 3 movies...except this time it's for a gimmick line with previous movie characters.

At least we know why Has\Tak managed to get that license for the VW Beetle now - because of the (presumably very hefty) fee for having it in the movie, rather than it just being for the Masterpiece.

Thanks to a number of Seibertronians sending us the notification, including Carnivius_Prime, Scottimus Prime, and ScottyP, we have images of the first actual reveal of a Transformers Bumblebee Movie figure from the upcoming toyline that will accompany the theatrical release in December!
Its full name is Power Charge Bumblebee - a name we had seen in previous news for the toyline as Igniters Power [something] and Power Core - and is a transforming robot to Volkswagen beetle, with charging chest gimmick and moveable battlemask.

Same. It transforms, has a decent looking alt mode and robot mode, dont really have any issues especially when this doesnt target us. Looks like a god toy for kids, not dissimilar to other fun toys in the past like in the UT trilogy.
But thats the point. Both this toy and toys from the cyberverse line are for the exact same audience. And this one is a far better execution (aside from Shockwave)

If it weren't for the unfortunate chest I could have seen myself buying this. This is what Allspark Powered should have been, they would have sold a ton of them if that were the case. This bodes well for the line, but I fear that knowing the rest of the line is going to be heavily gimmicked this is the best they have to offer (for kids, SS aside).

I might pick this up, it definitely makes up for some of the crap we're getting from Cyberverse (excluding Shockwave and possibly that Ultra class Starscream) Hopefully the rest of the line looks this good.

Yeah i had a reply to my twitter post about this figure (mentioning that i think it's better designed than the Cyberverse figures) and the guy said this is aimed at older kids and I pointed out that both this figure and all the Warriors and Scouts of Cyberverse say "Age 6+" on the box. Heck I expected the Cyberverse ones to have a younger age on them cos most 6 year olds I've known over the years been smarter than what Hasbro seem to assume.

I mean how much is it going to really cost though? $15? $20? I wouldn't really call that a waste for a toy, as an adult paying for toys in general is a bit of a waste of money. (This isn't to say Adults can't enjoy toys but they don't have the childlike attachment they used to have when they were younger.)

yeah, sometimes feel like everything i buy for myself that isn't a life essential (like food, and just enough food to live on) is a waste of money and that i should donate way more than i do to those less fortunate than even I but not sure if that's a healthy way of thinking. I dunno if I'd buy this particular toy myself as I'm waiting for the Studio toy as that's more my thing but if I was to receive this one as a gift I'd be quite happy with that and I reckon most kids would be too. Point is this VW Bee is suprisingly decent for a 'gimmick' TF figure and I would hope it pleases a lot of kids particularly on christmas day if they so happen to receive it from Santa. This looks surprisingly fun for a "gimmick" toy, I think I'll pick this guy up! I'm mostly impressed that he has full articulation, they actually managed to get the wheels in his feet in the right position, and the battle mask not only looks fantastic but they used clear plastic for the eye sections! on a non-Masterpiece toy! I'll probably paint him up a bit to match the colors better but even if not he looks like a lot of fun.
Can't wait to see the Studio Series/potential Masterpiece versions of this guy if his "kiddy" figures are this good.

This looks incredibly good for what it does! Easily one of the better "kids" toys I've seen recently after the flop of Allspark Tech and Cyberverse. This makes me even more excited for the upcoming deluxe and rumored Masterpiece figures.

We had seen the names of a lot of these, but the full line-up for the Energon Igniters toys can be seen in full below, and features the likes of Bumblebee, Optimus Prime, Barricade, Hot Rod, Megatron and Dropkick (though not all mat appear in the movie itself, as many reutilise designs from previous movie lines), with their class gimmick of Speed, Power, Power Plus, and Nitro, and more - check it all out below! We'll be seeing more of these at San Diego Comic Con 2018 later this week, so stay tuned.
Energon Igniters Speed – $5.99
Energon Igniters Power – $9.99
The 5-inch Power series is a little more complex (4-9 steps) and a little more spoilery, because it’s the first hint we’ve gotten that Megatron might be a part of the Transformers: Bumblebee movie. Sporting a similar form to previous versions, his alt mode is a 4-track Cybertronian tank (with the usual very conspicuous face…funny how a lazy toy design decision from the first movie has now become cannon). The Power series also has the only Dropkick Energon Igniters toy. You can use the cores sold with the Power Plus and Nitro toys to unlock special features. Camaro ‘Bee and Hot Rod round out this series.

I like the Speed figures since they're Legends type of pocket sized versions of figures so may get some of those but mainly waiting for Studio and hoping Barricade looks a lot better than these toys in his film design (cos I'm hating those G1-style obvious car chunk legs in particular). Amusing that Hot Rod is Barricade minus the police parts.
